Absolute Class. We must push the boat out to keep him.
Best Midfielder at this club since Alan Hudson
Him and Huddy together would be a dream team.
Watching him tonight cant believe he's not playing for a Champions League team. Don't tell his dad though!

Brilliant tonight, we missed his ability to control the game in the second half - massively.

Against City he was quality, that flick over Yaya's head was godly I want to say it was West Ham too where he bossed their entire team alone! Such a great player on his day and still worth a start when it's not!

Just a shame about all the rumours that he wants out, not sure how true they really are or whether it's just a load of rubbish. Just hope he's happy at Stoke.

Why is he too good for us Because on his day he's akin to a Yaya Toure, when he plays like that you wouldn't have him down as a midtable player. The fact he's not like that every game explains why he's not at a top 5 club. A great player for a club like us however.

He really is a top midfielder. But it's frustrating that he apparently wants out, either way for the price we paid (3 million I think?) there is no way he could be replaced IMO. I really cannot understand why he wants to go though....we play good football thy suits his style of play, have good players around him now and he's a fans favorite. Strange one

Just offer a new improved contract with conditions; 15M release clause. All happy. We really would see if anyone would pay that amount for what he thinks hes worth. Can't see many takers unless he starts to bag a lot of goals.

I don't normally like to praise players who time and again prove that they think they're bigger than the club, however, if he manages to produce performances like that week in week out, I'd be inclined to agree with him. Absolute quality last night!

Another football player fellow Stokies simply fail to understand. He can be the best midfield player in the premier league full stop.
Forget Toure - Forget Mata Et al - Steven Nzonzi has got the lot. It just about him being settled and applying consistent concentration and being coached correctly
Disaster if we lost him.
Massive that Bojan has turned up - so many players games will blossom as a result - I predict a super season for our Steven
provinding no one comes in and nicks him

No disrespect but seeming him in the centre of midfield instead of the likes of Dean Whitehead shows how far the club have come.
N'Zonzi, bar the odd paddy is a superb midfielder and for me, he and Whelan should be a sure fire bet to be the two holding midfielders.

When you eventually start signing players of the class that we are now, you're going to have to put up with temperamental strops and Toys being thrown out of prams. Life's a hell of a lot more interesting these days though - isn't it?

Such a great player on his day and still worth a start when it's not! We are City Webbyy, half our songs are about a team called City, everytime we have a corner we shout for City, yet there is one teams fans that turn up at our gaff and arrogantly tell us "there's only one city" . The media act like they agree with them and as a result we have owners of other clubs called City who want to ditch their traditional name for stupid titles like Tigers. Now we have fans of a club called City calling another club City. It's the thin end of the wedge but you are not the only person who does it. Why are you pampering to the egos of these arrogant pricks? I bet you call their neighbours by only their second name too? Why don't we go the full hog and follow Hull's example and try and change our name? What do you think we should call ourselves? BM

The Zonz is magnificent (I have written this, or something like it, on every Nzonzi thread which has ever appeared on this message board just for luck because if we lose this man then we slip back in to the pack)

I'm not convinced he had a say in his transfer request, think it was all his dad. But the venom from the Stoke fans since has been ridiculous on social media, with more than a small amount wanting him to leave. Thankfully people are starting to remember why he's so highly rated. I wouldn't sell him at all, I think him, Shawcross and Begovic are the spine of our team (albeit a short spine)

He is certainly a good player and on his day very good. Imo the reason he is still with us is his attitude ( and his lack of goals ). Seeing him sometimes trudging off the pitch looking totally pissed off and disinterested certainly doesn't endear him to the supporters !! He would remind you of Nicolas Anelka in many ways , similar attitude , ability , badly advised by family members . Oh and they are both French ????

Swansea, Leicester, Birmingham - of which city do you speak? I thought it was made obvious by the fact Yaya only plays or has played for one city didn't feel you guys were simple enough for me to have to spell it out for you I just think it pays too much respect to a "big" club. Only a Stoke City or Swansea City fan, for example, would refer to their clubs as simply "City". Similarly, only a Torquay United fan would refer to their club simply as "United". Yet journalists, pundits and media luvvies refer to Man City as "City" and Man United as "United". That's no reason for fans of other clubs to do the same. I read a report of the Stoke City v Man City game last season and it was a most confusing read because only one club was called "City" in the report - guess which one it was? Really the only clubs who should be referred to in match reports by just their second name are those with unique second names - like Argyle and Forest.

The fact he's not like that every game explains why he's not at a top 5 club. A great player for a club like us however. Kenwyne was akin to Drogba on his day. Unfortunately his day was once every 3 months. If N'Zonzi can stop sulking and get a run of decent games together we will struggle to keep him. The reason he hasn't gone anywhere is he sees himself as a top 5 club player. Unfortunately for him the top 5 clubs don't at the moment. H
