How come you think we should drop one of our best players last season? I'd just like to see Cameron in that position Fair enough and given time I can see him getting a chance there, but what would it tell the players, play the best season of your careers and be an integral part of our success but we'll be dropping you next season for a player that's only ever played one game in the prem in your position. Happily see him given a chance but when a chance opens up, suspension or injury etc.

3 at the back is wank. I have a feeling the definite starters are as follows; Bego Bardsley Shawcross Wilson ? Whelan Fonz ? Ireland Arnie Diouf The next few friendlies will tell us more but I reckon Wilson will be out and Huth in. Maybe but I have a sneaking suspicion Hughes is more than ok with it.

My hunch is that Hughes will start with a pretty similar line up to the end of last season, with the exception of Diouf replacing Crouch or Odemwingie. Bardsley in for Cameron (who is still being 'rested') and all the other new signings on the bench. He will go for gradual integration IMHO.

To be very honest, I haven't a clue what our best eleven is. Without Bojan, you would make a fair stab at the eleven being something like: Bego, Bardsley, Shawcross, Huth, Pieters, Whelan, N'Zonzi, Ireland, Odemwingie, Arnie, DioufWith subs: Sorensen, Wilko, Wilson, Sidwell, Adam, Crouch, Walters With Bojan, however, I jave no idea who makes way and I guess we'll see a lot of squad rotation. One thing stands out for me though, and that's that Diouf was almost certainly brought in as our main forward and will have been sold the club as our main forward. Whrre does that leave Bojan? In a way, it's an interesting test for Hughes, not unlike the Tuncay situation. I'm sure he has a plan and knows what he's doing, I'm just desperate to know what it is! Yeah - I'd be fairly confident that'll be the XI v Villa, MD. But don't think Bojan has been bought as an impact player long-term so it'll probably change before long. And if you add Bojan, Muniesa, Cameron and Assaidi to your potential subs list, you start to get a feel for how many noses are going to put out of joint.

Excellent! This cracked me up. But if I had to pick I would go... Bego Cameron Shawcross Huth Muni Zonz Whealan Wingie Ireland Arnie Diouf/Bojan Could swap Bardsley for Cameron, Bojan for Ireland, Pieters for Muni.

Its amazing to think how many forwards we will have... some big decisions for hughes here.

I think Crouch will start. The only change we will see will be Bardsley. Hughes would be mad to start off with Diouf, Bojan or sidwell. You have to give credit to the players who got us to where we finished. New players need time to bed in. You don't want very much pressure on them from the off. The possible line ups though do bring a smile to my face and I don't think we have finished buying yet. Happy days.
