Pelligrini would also be a worthy winner
It's easy to say he's had loads of money but sometimes it's harder to manage that expectation
he has won the league playing great football and with a great humility

Hats off to the guy, done a fantastic job down there. Makes it better as both parties have become better off from the situation and there is no bad feelings. Very well done Tone, forever greatful!

Well done Tone. What he did there was nothing short of a miracle, great respect for the fella and it's nice to see everything worked out for the best for all parties

Can't argue with that.
Good to see it not automatically going to the league winner.
He's certainly performed a miracle there since he arrived.
Good that all parties ended up doing well out of the parting of the waves.

Hearty congratulations to him. Absolute bollocks from the media and LMA that he didn't win it in 08/09, but that's football.

well done Tony, well deserved. Just don't understand why he was the anti Christ at Stoke but a tactical genius at Palace. a double whammy as it will piss Wenger off no end.

I've just said on Twitter that it seems strange now he's at a London club he is getting so much praise for basically doing exactly what he did here.

I've just said on Twitter that it seems strange now he's at a London club he is getting so much praise for basically doing exactly what he did here. Pulis was all over the media for a period before he took over at Palace. This seems to have ingratiated himself to people who wouldn't previously have given him the time of day. Strangely, while the media perception of him seems to have changed beyond all recognition, his former team, who've changed beyond all recognition, are still regarded as the ugly runt of the Premier League.

No problem with that.
Probably should have won it with us during his time here, but alas, not to be.
Anyway well done Tone.

Is there a separate thing for Premier League manager of the season and overall manager of the season? Sounds odd, but I'm just wondering because of how all of this has filtered out.

There is but logically I can't see how You can be PL manager of the year and then be beaten to the overall title by another PL manager! Makes no sense.

Not that it affect the results of the poll, but is Pulis in the LMA now? He never used to be did he?

So TP gets Prem award and Rodgers gets overall award?
How does that work?

Why hasn't Pellegrini won it? 2 trophies.

Standard nonsensical awards ceremony.
That cannot possibly be right.

There's individual awards for each of the 4 leagues, then another award for overall winner.
Nice to see Pulis getting some recognition for a fantastic job anyway, regardless of it being years overdue.

So TP gets Prem award and Rodgers gets overall award? How does that work? Rogers got most votes from all 92 clubs. Pulis got most votes from all 20 PL clubs
