I'm very curious here. Why would a relatively meaningless game between Everton and Crystal Palace garner 11 + pages of comments on a Stoke City site ?? Well, because the net effect of this game is that Palace are now only 3 points behind us and therefore the most immediate threat to our dearly sought first ever Prem top half finish. And to add spice to that it just happens that Palace are managed by the very man we controversially fired in the summer just gone. To further compound the misery at the same time they have gifted back to our hated enemies at Arsenal their Champions League place which it hitherto seemed would go to Everton. Plenty for folks to get their teeth in to there and hang their pro and anti Pulis colors too there.

Bollasie in his interview on Tony Pulis 'he's proving alot of people wrong again'. How very well fcuking dare he?. Expect uproar on here anytime soon, or maybe even a new thread telling the world what a knob he is. It depends what people have wrong about him? Is he alluding to the fact that the football world sees TP as a one-dimensional dinosaur? You gotta love the one dimensional stuff, one really has.

Where is the link to this what must have been a sensational story. When you find me the link confirming your post that not all of the signings in TP's last season and a half were his, I'll find you the link to my sensational story. It won't be difficult for me because it'll be the same link. That's just my opinion 'as I stated' whereas your comment sounded as fact. Now, still cannot find that link.

I seem to recall certain posters saying he wouldn't get another premiership job not so long ago never mind become a media darling.Seems to me at this present moment his stock has risen to such an extent that maybe 10 of the 20 premier league clubs would consider him if their clubs hot seat became available, imo of course.

Most people of reasonable judgment would concede that Pulis is 'good at what he does'. I never doubted he would drag Palace out of the doldrums to some measure of safety. Ask Palace fans, with the benefit of the best part of 100 million quid, if 40 points and survival by the skin of your teeth is reasonable in 5 years time and whether any further expectation is unjustified. IMO of course

IMO of course Your correct in what saying because Pulis has a certain shelf life imo and is very good at what he does, which is why i said half the clubs would surely want his services at this present time with the relegation battle being so tight down there.

He deserved to be sacked, infact he was very lucky not to be sacked a year earlier than he was.

Spin doctors nicely at work with the 'Pulis was sacked' line which suites Coates down to the ground.
Pulis resigned but Coates wouldn't want anyone to know that. Now we move on to next season and we'll see if Coates backs Hughes.
Personally I believe Coates family will yet again take the £££££££££££££££££££££££££££££s whilst hoping for the best in that there'll be another pot of ££££££££££££££££££££££££££s the season after next.
That is all.

Queuing up to say Tone would never get another job in the Prem and would be lucky to get one in the Conference weren't they. I'm not expecting any apologies but it would be just plain wrong not to remind people, they know who they are.
