He was absolutely amazing today. It's so valuable how well he kept the ball, beat players and drew fouls when we were trying to steady the game. Fantastic work all game, capped by his heroic effort to put the 4th goal on a plate for Geoff.
£2m, he cost us...

Quite possibly but not by a country mile.
Crouch, Pieters and Odemwingie would all have legitimate claims to it too I'd say.

He was excellent as were Crouchy, Pieters, Odemwingie, N'Zonzi and Shawcross
The rest of the team were great as well. Cameron and Palacios had dodgy moments in the first 15 but both played well after that, Geoff needs to work on his crossing though.

Ill give it him because he kept going for the full 90 minutes. but it was an all round team performance
Arnie Pieters Odemwingie Crouch Nzonzi Shawcross
All 9 out of 10 performances today

Thought that Arnie, Crouchy, Ode, Pieters and N Zonzi all have a claim to it. Thought everyone else was excellent as well, even Geoff and Palacios recovered from those early dodgy moments. Overall, we were fucking excellent.

Never by a country mile - loads of others had a legitimate claim, including Crouch who got it.

Only a matter of time, to think people wanted Assaidi instead of this guy? 3 goals 10 assists this season, not bad for a first season! Bravo you Austrian beauty!

I think we all know by now that I have an agenda against our CEO and Technical Director - guilty as charged. They deserve massive credit for the Arnautovic deal though. In both keeping it quiet and getting it done as cheap as we got him.
I'm close to admitting that it might trump all of the negatives but I might need to digest those thoughts over a couple of slices of Pepperoni...

I love it when he acts like a cocky prick.
4 or 5 times today he held off a Villa player, stood on the ball and just dragged it away. I bet he's a nightmare to play against but I absolutely love him.

Absolutely! MOM would be a difficult call today but overall, we were a pleasure to watch. As Crouchy said post match, we were televised and so all can see what we're trying to achieve. Immensely proud of the collective effort today, and that's with a worrying personnel deficit. Mark Hughes Red n White Army

The way he handles (stops) long balls to him (as he did before 1:1) is absolutely amazing....never seen like that
Great game.....produced many, many dangerous Scenes....his opponent (think it was Bacuna) will have very bad dreams tonight.
As he is right-food he often makes the same trick and turns into the middle and maintaines always the ball.....but anytime he goes straight, as he did before 4:1.

Best game from Pieters so far for me today mate.
He and Arnie are (as you say) linking up fantastically - a terrific left flank we have now ... how much did it cost again?

I think they all played fantastic. Never seen us pass it around so much and keep possession so well. Whelan put in a great shift again some good diagonal balls across field. Still get a bit frightened when Palacios is playing....
