Yes ...mine too , however I wish he would work on his shooting.....very wayward at times. A great player none the less.

I agree, but Crouch was excellent too.

Brilliant.
You could put together a youtube video of all his involvement today and I'd be tugging myself silly.

This fellow has the potential (as I've said before) to become a Stoke all time great. He must be encouraged by all concerned. I'll say no more!

We had 9 outfield MoM's today + Geoff Cameron.
Shawcross was immense, Wilson faultless, Pieters superb (I love our Erik and great to hear a song for him when he went off). Palacios was great, Whelan magnificent and N'zonzi majestic. Odemwingie was infectious, Crouch brilliant and Arnie was magic.
What a performance. What a win. What a manager.
We're looking upwards boys and Hughes is doing us proud.

I am a sucker for a player that does things us mere mortals are simply not capable of - as evidenced by the players I have idolised whilst watching Stoke: Hudson, Chamberlain, Stein, Hoekstra, Fuller. Yes, the team as a whole was immense (I'll forgive Geoff his brain fart for their goal), and Wingy has been an absolute revelation since signing, but Marko, when on song, is a joy to behold. His control, his vision, his tricks, his desire to entertain, to torment and toy with the opposition.....this is why I watch football.

I agree up to a point, but Shawcross was at fault for their goal IMO and he went on to perform admirably. Cameron has some ability going forward and the run for his goal was great. He does lose him man and he never seems to go to ground for a tackle like our Erik occasionally does. Perhaps he could play a part in midfield but at the moment, what with the performance of Palacios, our midfield is a little crowded. I'd rather look upon yesterday as a game where ever single player played their part with only a slither between them. I know you're being a bit tongue-in-cheek, but to pick on Geoff is a touch unfair. Saying that, Odemwingie's defensive work was astounding and streets ahead of Super Jon. If you'd have told me PO would have performed as he has to date I'd have laughed. Jezza, you're not far off with your MOM choice given Arnie's maverick style and his assists so I'll give you that one

He darts inside, offloads and the ball is worked to Odemwingie who lets fly with a swerving shot that has Guzan momentarily worried. Good effort.

He seems very happy which is very important! MH & MB are always encouraging him, which is pleasing. Outstanding player, not a goal machine but an exquisite creator. Almost very technician like!

Jezza, you're not far off with your MOM choice given Arnie's maverick style and his assists so I'll give you that one I'm not picking on Geoff at all. He was solely culpable for the goal. Shawcross stopped Benteke from taking a shot in the first instance and then took up his usual position to clear danger from the 6 yard box. Cameron was done like a kipper because he dangled his toe in like usual instead of properly tackling his opponent. He was also the only player not to put in a MOM performance hence we had 9 outfield MoM's + Cameron. Credit to Cameron would be that after a wretched first half, he was much more solid second half and showed again that what he lacks in ability he offers in character. His goal at the end also made up for the one he gifted them.

He played wank in the first half but was much improved in the second and capped it with an excellent striker-esque finish.

MoM yes (for most) but not by a country mile. Everyone played well.
What worked in Arnies favour was that nearly everything came off....however if you want to be picky...
1) Pieters was excellent for the 2nd goal getting onto a back heel/drag that was a little powder puff.
2) For the 3rd goal their defenders had 2 chances to clear the ball but they fluffed it. The pass was wayward but got deflected into N'Zonzi's path.
Great display but there were a couple of breaks involved.
Personally, my MoM was Odemwingie. His placement of the ball for the first goal was excellent.
