For the purpose of this thread you have to choose ONE other team in the premiership that are not Stoke to ever so slightly follow and wish success upon them.
I have no idea why but I have an odd slight fondness for Liverpool. I enjoy watching them and I would like to see them beating chelsea/man city to the title.
Who would you choose and why?

Tottenham - my best mate is a ST holder at WHL and, of course, our mutual love for Arsenal... :-)

Spurs for me, Ossie Ardiles loved watching him play so the affinity has stuck.

I 'supported' Everton when I was about 6 and had an Everton colouring book one Christmas.
So, I suppose if I had to pick somebody...

Not popular but...... West Bromwich albion. We rarely get short changed from them, and as deluded as there fans are at times, they are very much in the same bracket as us, being a small midlands team that try to keep their heads above water.

I really don't have a second team in England at all, but I like the way Everton, Norwich and WBA seem to be run. Looks like proper clubs to me! Really dislike Lpool, Man Poo, The Arse, Chitty and Chelski (in this order)!

Very serious. I'm certain with moyes in charge both Stoke and United will be challenging for 8th next season! Love united but always enjoy seeing Stoke doing well. Was worried this season but Hughes is doing a grand job unlike Mr Moyes!

It is possible to follow a football team 100% blood and guts without having to completely despise every other team that exists you know!

With Pej and Bernard, followed by Bracewell and Inchy all going to Everton, I always kept an eye out for their results, so Everton it is.

Spit, my previous comment wasn't a dig at you nor your original question. I don't despise other clubs (except Arsenal), it's just that I'm probably a bit 'old school' in thinking that your team picks you, and not the other way around.

Southampton: my uncle used to be on their coaching staff and I used to get complimentary tickets to watch them at Anfield, OT, etc.. I always seem to have a couple of mates who support them as well. Villa are up there because my dad's a Brummie (confirmed Stokie for more than 40 years now, though), most of my Brummie family support them, amd my uncle played for them - and I was at uni there.
Always had a soft spot for Everton and WBA as well.

I couldn't ever follow another team but the opposition team I have most respect for in the Premier League are Everton. Their club is based around a lot of the same principles as us I think, a lot of history and tradition and an owner who is a genuine fan of the club with the fans best interests at heart. Coates and Kenwright may not have the war chest that some owners have but you know they're a safe pair of hands and Stoke and Everton will always be financial stable whilst they are there.

Amazing ground with amazing fans. Let the abuse commence eeek! Me too. But for much more tenuous reasons than you. I really admired the way SAF bought through so many youth players in the 90's and rebuilt great teams so many times. I guess my admiration is more for Sir Alex but over time it's become the whole club and I can't shake it now Moyes is in charge.
