Chiles- "What happened to our defender factory from 15 years ago?" *reels off names* Hoddle- "That back four is our Achilles heel, if we get injuries, that's where we struggle" immediately mentions setting up a unit, mentions Smalling "club level isn't great at the moment" Dixon- "We haven't got a lot of back up, I'm surprised if Dawson isn't called up" Wright "Yeah, good shoutout that".
Are they for real?

Dawson is twice the player Smalling is. And on current form Shawcross is better than both of them. But I do rate Dawson......

It's blindingly obvious that if any of our English players get the chance to play for England they will have to move away from Stoke City FC. We the fans can cry 'fuck em' all we want to, but at the end of the day, if it were you being passed by because of the Club you play for what would you do? I think it's inevitable that Shawcross will have to leave Stoke City to get another sniff at the England squad. Unless Shawcross starts to gain praise from our 'friends' on MotD he will get nowhere. They totally ignored his diagonal pass to Arnie on saturday, they showed Arnie receiving the ball and the shot afterwards, the only other pass they showed the commentator described it as a long ball, we all know if it had been any of the media dahlings favourite players it would have been a measured pass and the commentator and pundits alike would have been queuing up to lavish praise. Shawcross will have to put several games like saturdays performance together and consistently to PERHAPS get a mention.

Woy also said that a player wouldn't be judged in a friendly on 15 minutes, 20 minutes 45 minutes or 90 minutes.
Is that right woy?

I couldn't give too much of a fuck about england I struggle to remember when I last felt pride in them as team (it actually might have been Beckham's 1 man performance against Greece) however I do give a fuck about a talented player whose name and reputation has been dragged through the mud by one whinging manager and some bizarre media agenda which seems to be preventing him from getting the international career he deserves. As for owl face if he thinks Ryan's performance against Sweden is bad just wait until Smalling gets mullered by Suarez. I too think Dawson is a good centre back and I'm shocked he hasn't received a call up.

England's four centre backs should be Jagielka, Shawcross, Dawson and possibly Curtis Davies. Still not a world class player between them but better than the shit that keeps getting picked.
The partnership tonight makes me want to self harm

My grievance this these fucking idiots isn't that Dawson is overlooked (I also quite rate him), but the fact that there's a perfectly good English centre back sat at home that's been the captain of a team for 5 going on 6 years, of a team that's consistently had a very good defensive record, in one of the most competitive leagues in the world.
Roy Hogson can sit on a fat one as far as I'm concerned, he barely knows what fucking planet he's on.

Shawcross' name is only mentioned by media and pundits if the sentence refering to ryan has the following words in it
Intent Malicious Broken Bones Thug Wales
Other than that Ryan does not exist

Yeah Eric Dier plays for Sporting Clube de Portugal and it's not football manager Dan', i've never actually played that but... This is boring, i'll make it brief... Fifa 14 Hartlepool career mode (i play the games and manage like) Gets to 2018 and i get an International Job management offer from England, quite rightly too having taken Hartlepool not only up to The Premier League but won the damn thing. So i take it because the World Cup is that summer. First thing i do is check the England starting XI and would you adam and eve it...starting XI (this is how it was in the game based on ratings in the future, NOT what i'd picked) CB - Dier CB - Shawcross Both rated 84 or more or summat like that, i forget now as it's now 2019/2020 season

If you watch soccer saturday from the weekend they talk about stoke and jeff stelling asks phil thomson if shawcross should be in the england setup. On the right of the screen you can see charlie nicholas look away and roll his eyes. He's been stereotyped by the media now and he'll never shake it off.

I thought that Stuart Pearce visited The Brit during his short tenure as England manager. Hodgson seems to have no intention of watching a match at Stoke. Even Maradonna visited The Brit as Argentina manager.

Shawcross and England. England are rubbish! How anyone thinks that they have got a cat in hell,s chance of winning the World Cup is seriously deluded. Don,t get me wrong, I,d love them to do well, but they are no where near good enough.

I can understand Ryan would be proud to have the chance to represent England in Brazil, but let's face it....England are cack & our media will over-hype the event, inflate their ego & all will return early on having achieved SFA. At least Ryan can go on holiday & not risk getting injured.............unless he falls over his dog, a la Lawrence.

Yep and when they do pack their bags after two weeks of humiliation it would all be Ryan's fault if he was there. Stay well away Ryan we need you to lead us forward next season. England really are shite.
