How precisely does he know the ins and outs of what's gone on? No mention of Jones' contract situation, no mention of the fact that he'd gone on strike before, no questioning of why, if we're the villains of the piece, Jones isn't taking any kind of action against the numerous papers reporting that he'd refused to play.
Brave man to make these kind of accusations with the certainty that he does when you can hide behind anonymity.

The article smacks of someone who has got a vendetta against Stoke & we all know Kitson has.

If it is Kitson, I could give you 50 reasons why he would be team kenwyne! Kenwynes attitude stank before this incident!

From a legal sense I don't think he'll be able to hide behind that very flakey veil of anonymity. I wonder if the club will take any action...

If the text does exist, Stoke should sue for defamation and expose the person altogether - then there is no more secret and no more extra dosh for writing such horse shit

What complete rot. Dave Kitson and Kenwyne Jones are 'woe is me' world owes me a living types who are an anathema to supporters. If just for one minute you give the article a moments credence, it seems that Kitson and Jones are more concerned with the mode of communication rather than the refusal to play itself.
Dave Kitson and Kenwyne Jones two cunty peas in a very shitty pod.

I've left a comment which I assume won't get on asking why if Stoke are desperate to get rid would we devalue our asset by telling the world what an unprofessional twat KJ is?

So sue then Kenwyne if there's no text.
Damages for professional reputation, remainder of contract and your ickle hurty-wurty feelingy-weelinglies.
(Where's Chrs & Cheesefax when you need them to argue the finer points of the claim's validity?)
Then, when he doesn't, Coatsey should sue that twot Kitson and test the concept of hiding behind a nom de plume.
(Chris? Cheesefax?)
99.9% of the world know who it is anyway after all.
Go for it Kenny lad.

"Clearly, Stoke do not want to do that. Their chairman, Peter Coates, who is never shy in coming forward in the media, has tightened the purse strings at the Britannia Stadium quite considerably since former manager Tony Pulis departed. And that includes paying off players who are no longer wanted."
This quote alone proves it's utter bollocks....why doesn't the secret footballer, or ginger twat as we more commonly know him, think back to delap after his leg break, commons after his cruciate, mama sidibe after his, and salif diao for trying to keep him on in some capacity knowing he was finished with us as a player.
Secret windbag more like......like my arse

So he wasn't prepared to believe the club or the many press reports and Mark Hughes, but he's happy to believe what a couple of people who are mates with Kenwyne say. What a cunter.
As the lad above says, sue then Kenwyne, put your vast amount of money where your massive gob is, and that goes for you as well Kitson you cunt.

Yet at 29 years of age, he has some resale value to Stoke as well as a wage that could be split quite comfortably between a couple of new acquisitions.
That's bollocks for a start he's out of contract soon

Kitson at it again with sour grapes. I struggle to understand why he starts by stating he knows the 'facts' and finishes by questioning if the text exists... Either way, I think the majority of fans wanted KJ off the wage bill before Liverpool so there wouldn't be much need to turn the fans against him...

There are some stupid comments on here. The main issue here is tsf is saying the club has lied. I think the club has to respond to this accusation. If they have then this is outrageous.
with all the money we pay jones we should be getting something out of him on the pitch

I'm with Jamo, Why would Stoke do or say anything that would ensure KJ would be harder to get rid of? Doesn't make sense.

One or the other is made up, I wonder which.
The player didn't turn up He is out of contract at the end of the season and can move to any club that wants him. Publicising what happened will prompt questions, particularly with a player as inconsistant as KJ. Just because the Club haven't shared the text doesn't mean it doesn't exist, why would they?
TSF article seems rubbish to me

I've left a comment which I assume won't get on asking why if Stoke are desperate to get rid would we devalue our asset by telling the world what an unprofessional twat KJ is? Couldn't agree more, Jamo. I've just re-read the piece and I don't buy Kitson's line at all. Still no luck as regards pinpointing any logical reasoning. Regardless of what may or may not have happened last weekend, I can't see how we've been helped in any way by the entire episode. Are we in any way any better off than we were this time last week? Of course not - so the point of the article is......? If anything, our position is far weaker in terms of Jones' value and motivation to perform if ever called upon.

yeah it sounds a bit fake that Kitson is denying there was ever a text, but not denying that Jones made himself unavailable. Sounds like he made a call or something. So the form of communication is by the by. It confirms that he refused to play simple as.
