Demar Phillips.
Good gracious, why does he always seem to fall off the list of TP's landmark signings?
Oh, and he only ever got a permit to be Ricci's bitch. Because he was the greatest left winger in this clubs history? Silly me.
Of course he was.
Just like he fitted TP's 'must be 6'6" + & build like an outhouse' template.

^ absolutely Malcolm. I'm completely at a loss to understand what weighting each criteria is for granting a permit. I'm not entirely sure how a pre-requisite for playing so many international fixtures really helps gauge a player's suitability or potential to thrive in English football.
I have undergraduate students who go abroad for a calendar year to work in professional areas such as graphic design, television, advertising, publishing and so on, to gain invaluable experience in order to prepare them for their equivalent of international football (i.e. long term high level employability). We have to select those that are suitable as its such a popular option. If our criteria was how many awards they'd already won, or how many profile clients they had already worked for, none of them would go anywhere!

I see your point but to be honest if the club could predict every subject on which someone will create misinformed bollocks so they can get their considered clarification out in advance they are cleverer/more mental than I suspect. Just think of the volume of it too! Perhaps the club need to employ one of our more active bollocks generating posters within their public relations department to cover this off? Who are the two players You mentioned a bit further up Mark? Rory Delap? The whole precontract broken leg thing when most other clubs wouldve weasled out of the deal.
