Regardless of footballing afinity's, I feel so sorry for Cardiff fans here. I doubt any of them want this Tan fella now, he's made them change their shirt colour, under threat of removing funding, he publicly criticized spending during the summer, despite sanctioning that spending at the time & now he is flying in to decide whether to sack MacKay before or after their next game. Personally I hope he does it after, but MacKay gets a result against Liverpool, is handed his p45 on the pitch and walks off to a standing ovation. But I doubt this will happen Unfortunately club's cannot choose who owns them and when Coates decides to sell, even if he sells to someone decent (& I hope with his love of the club he would), the man after could be some obscure businessman, ala Tan Horrible club, horrible fans. They've had the owners they deserve.

Tradition such as selling shares for a Pound ? Or how about forcing Lou to sell Peschisoldio rather than sell his only left back Sandford maybe you should change your post to you can't accuse Coates Mk II of I find the idea of keeping shares in a Premier League club valued at £1 quite amusing. Given that our income this season will be over 8x what it was in our promotion season and, maybe 20x what it was when Coates first bought the club, quite why anyone would think that the club should be valued at what it was in those days really does make me smile. I remember when shares in clubs like Stoke were fixed in number and were, as you say, traditionally valued at £1. But it would make little sense these days for anyone to be able to buy a club for a few hundred thousand pounds when even a smallish Premier League club has an annual income of £90 million and a wage bill of £54 million. I find it more amusing you appear to be suffering from selective memory when it comes to remembering when Coates MK I broke the £1 a share gentlemans agreement.

They're talking about bringing Dave Jones back. Dave Jones!
When Tan arrives into the country he should be turned away by customs and have his assets seized.

Things move at a pace, down in South Wales. Tan has now been persuaded to hang on to those horses just a little while longer (probably giving the NURSE! enough time to get to his bedside) and there is a correction on the clue to the identity of the man who is first choice to replace MacKay (if Tan doesn't wake up and smell the coffee ... and let's all hope not!). www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/25464611"Dalman convinced the Malaysian businessman to hold one final round of negotiations.
Mackay is now expected to take charge of the team at Liverpool on Saturday.
Earlier in the day, Tan gave Dalman the go-ahead to set about appointing a successor to Mackay and was deciding whether to sack the Scot before or after the weekend's game.
Dalman has a preferred candidate to replace Mackay should he be dismissed - the manager is a high-profile name currently in work outside the UK.
It is understood he would be keen to join Cardiff, but only if given concrete and binding assurances on issues such as Tan's involvement and the job description. As in, I should imagine, wants to know if Tan will have sold up before he joins! I guess this correction also gives bayern some hope with: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Y%C4%B1lmaz_Vural(although - where is Sven working, these days?!) However, the ever so lovely Mr Jones showed some sense isn't going to be involved. Tan did speak to former Bluebirds boss Dave Jones about a return to the club in some capacity, but he does not intend to follow through with that idea.

Really, wouldn't it have been better for them to have an owner that wasn't willing to spends millions on them and see them succeed in multiple relegations, to me that seems a much better owner for them .

There is so much more behind this. Why was Moody sacked. Apparently inappropriate payments have been sloshing about. Moody and Mackay were close buddies. Go figure, it isn't difficult to work out why Tan is so p....... off. 35M on transfer fees but 50 M spent apparently.

Add ons to transfer fees like appearances/staying up/goals/caps etc..

Hell of an add on though? Almost 50% of the fees. What will the final cost be? Players not played so far Cornelius Brayford Velekjonja This lot add up to 12 M. They have about 8 out on loan as well. If this was Stoke we would be going mental about the waste of resources.

If it's someone in Tan's clan like You'd expect then it's their fault.
