The shirt deal is fast becomming a Joke, Warrior had an understanding that they had the deal. Now Stoke have all of a sudden stopped comunication with them without any reason it been 3 weeks with out any contact fron Stoke.

Warrior, Under Armour, Canterbury, Macron would all be better than the generic shite that Adidas churn out season after season.......

Have Warrior become some overly needy, overly emotional group that need constant contact and reassurance to ensure they can carry on without stopping to worry every 10 minutes?
If there's an offer on the table that seems favourable and Stoke are mulling it over but have told Warrior that to that point it was the best so far then that's the situation. If someone else has made a last minute offer the club may be looking over the finer details once more. If Warrior really understood they had the deal, they would have had signatures on contracts.

Surely these kind of deals are done via a "contract" rather than an "understanding"? Having said that I hope there is a change. This seasons home shirt is a real stinker, a flouncy collared "Liberace" number. It would not be out of place on a darts player. Never again

I'd rather have something unique than the same dross every other team in the country has got from Adidas

I'm probably a traditionalist but a Stoke shirt has to have the following:
red and white stripes, regular pattern and spacing, no extra wide ones or pinstripes. White stripe in the middle.
More white than red in the overall design: white collar, cuffs, white-based sleeves.
Stripes on the back as well as the front.
Simples.

So is Adidas a done deal then? I think I remember a four year deal being signed and they threw a ton of money at the club just to get us. Surprised Adidas would let a client go so easy....

We always got the line that it was a record breaking deal re Adidas. But I have never seen what it's actually worth and to my knowledge the actual fee was never released. Usually it is, this leads to cynically believe it wasn't that good of a deal.

Are they the ones that moved the shop inside the Potteries Centre? Think I bought a Puma shirt in the shop that was outside...

I can't ever remember a number being mentioned and that's the first time I've seen one. I aren't certain but I don't think it was. It would have been close though between moving it and getting Adidas. EDIT-I'm pretty sure it was there in our promotion season thinking about it, I bought my Brother a shirt that season from it, well the one that's now a phone shop or something like that.

Just add white shorts and, for me, white socks and you've got the perfect kit.

Yes this is how multi national million pound sponsorship deals are done - over the phone promises and not a contract in sight.
