If Tony takes the job there I certainly hope Palace will stay up, but not at our expense of course!

The interesting part will be who he tries to sign from us in January.... He needs to implement the system quickly so will want players he knows and trusts. So, you can imagine any of the following being his targets: Walters (less likely Hughes would let him go) Whelan Wilkinson Shotton (if he returns to us) Sorensen Wilson (if he falls out of favour) Adam (possibly) Crouch Etherington Might he be about to pay back some of Uncle Peter's fortune?!!! Fleece the bugger !

Jerome won't be starting any games then, poor bastard. In fairness my next door neighbour is a Palace season ticket holder and he drummed on my door the other day to ask me if Jerome is really as bad as he appears to have been for Palace so far. He made the observation that he appeared completely unable to master even the most basic skills of association football like trapping the ball and passing it and those kind of things. I felt it was a harsh judgement of Mr Jerome but he insisted it was one shared by most of the Palace fans he knows.

People saying palace are nailed on to go down. They didn't do too bad against us did they? As people keep saying, early days! Exactly. The same people who were saying we could only beat a sh*t QPR and Norwich side last Spring to assure survival are the same ones who were creaming over us narrowly beating a sh*t Palace side.

Have the feeling that tp is waiting to see what happens with the wales job before deciding on taking any management job. So until that is sorted or he knows he will not get it don't think he will take a club job.

An interesting dilemna for me if it happens, Palace is only a few miles from my house and if Stoke didn't have a game on when TP's Palace were playing and I was offered a free ticket would I........ take the dog for a walk or do some washing

If TP does become Cystal Palace manager then I wish him well and hope he does a good job(obviously not at our expense). I loved what he achieved with us but realised things had got to change although the abuse he still gets from some Stokies is way,way over the top.
Good Luck TP

Pulis wont take the Wales job because he wont be able to play Walters. That might be why MH left Wales to come to stoke to manager Walters because Mark seems to think he's a world beater as well - starts every game still!

Another sad bastard I see. You, stafford, and all the other Pulis rimmers should meet up on matchdays. Heck, you could all go Palace together should he get the job.

God's teeth I'd forgotten what a twat ianrb was! Well I hope we can stay up Adamsson. I've made the case for TP and it's important that it is made in the face of the knockers who talk rubbish about 'playing the game the right way' etc...Crystal Palace are in the toughest top flight in the World with millions spent by the big boys at the drop of a hat. The fact that they are there is a near miracle from a great, traditional manager who wears his heart on his sleeve. They now need another one to keep them there.

If he isn't handed the Palace job the I'm sure the Australian national side could use The Capped One's defensive coaching skills right now.

It's like Tony Pulis's reign edited by Disney though isn't it Ian? Plus what makes you so sure we will be relegated come May? And will you be back on here when we are not to admit you were wrong? Some STOKE fan.
