Yes I agree. Spurs version of one verse being stupidly slow & quiet, followed by one verse where it's a good speed & volume, followed by a bunch of mongy clapping that kills it is exactly what we did Saturday. miserable twat! I thought it was quite a decent effort at creating an atmosphere to be honest! Think he is refering to the Spurs fans in the post Shell because that is exactly how they sing it, our version was a much longer lower and quite haunting version of what we normall belt out as quickly as possible.. Was mint

I thought it was brilliant. Anybody any idea who thinks these things up and are they premeditated? Who orchestrates them?

It was a completely surreal moment where I thought somebody had smuggled in a Welsh male voice choir. Absolutely beautiful moment!!! Beat me to it. My mate said it sounded like a Welsh male voice choir. It really was a stunning few minutes. Exactly the words I said to my wife on Saturday night. I half wondered whether it was a recording coming through a tannoy it sounded that good. Spurs do a good job but something about Saturday's tone was inspiring and as some have said, haunting.

As long as no clapping is ever done to any version of this song

hasn't this always happened from time to time? Remember a similar one in Kiev before we scored. Trying to keep it restrained can give it some menace when it grows in volume
