I would play KJ up front as I have been nagging about for a long time, but he needs to extend his contract! Is he given the Choice to do this?

Pretty much word for word what I would have put. We need fresh blood in the forward areas.

I would cash in on Crouch and Jerome whilst we can and get Jones signed up on a 2 year deal.

I'd offer him a deal based on the wages of a 2nd/3rd choice striker. Hasn't done a lot wrong for me. If we hadn't stupidly signed Peter Crouch I think he'd be a bit of a hero by now.

Crouch is washed up and Jerome has never been a premier league striker.

The terms of the original deal make it virtually impossible to extend that deal.

Crouch must have something in his contract for two managers to not see that he is fucking useless.

The terms of the original deal make it virtually impossible to extend that deal. ITK MOMO Can you elaborate? You mean we can only offer a new deal with 6 months to go so that he can consider an extension alongside offers from other clubs? Once the contract has expired then there's no contract to break by offering him a new deal, surely!?

I would prefer to keep Crouch and offload KJ. Think the service to crouch was really poor last season plus I think he is better than KJ.

Said it all along, KJ must stay, give him the extension and further still give him the chances and he will score.
KJ could hit 15 easy in a MH 4-3-3.
he needs to be loved and made aware our chances are trusted with him, sign him up.

What I would prefer too, but I Guess offloading Crouch is a hell of a job! Offloading either of them seems difficult tbf. In my mind KJ would certainly give us 10+ goals if he starts every game in the League + he is a hell to play against when he is up for it! Would really feel bad about seeing KJ in another team's shirt, but I don't care about seeing the back of Crouch and Jerome!

KJ is hitting some form.. and if he can give us some form until January then we would be nuts to get rid.. Crouch is a fantastic target man who actually has skill. What I think we need is a "Pesky" little striker who can feed off both.. but you are probably talking big money.

I would keep KJ particularly if we end up with a smaller quick striker alongside. KJ can bully defenders and disrupt them even when not scoring.

It's all very well to say get rid of Kenwyn, crouch and Jerome, but not until there are better replacements. With better service we don't need more than 10 goals a piece from them, so long as we also get a few goals from midfield and Walters. Kenwyn did not play at his best Wednesday night and got 3. I suspect crouch or Walters would have scored too, because the service is getting better.
If no other striker joins us I still think we will be fine. At best we will only get one striker in this window, and Agudelo joining in January. crouch would not go for any significant cash now, Kenwyn is our best hope. we could possibly recoup some cash for Jerome, but he has done well often when he has come on late.
I do hope none of our players take any of the negativity seriously on this site.
I would be picking Kenwyn tomorrow to start, but suspect it will be Crouch ( or is that what Tone would have done and Sparky might see it differently)

What I would prefer too, but I Guess offloading Crouch is a hell of a job! Offloading either of them seems difficult tbf. Which one do you reckon starts tomorrow mate? In my eyes is has to be jones after his 3 goals in the week but something tells me it will be crouch. It's far too late in the window for them both to go, i reckon it will be a 1 in 1 out as far as strikers go before monday and i think the one to go will be jerome.

Definitely worth extending if possible. Crouch would still be my first choice but Kenwyne has always been a great professional for the club, never seems to moan or complain when left on the bench and gives his all when he gets his chance.

Crouch would still be my first choice why? I struggle to see what he offers, surely a single striker should be mobile when needed to be and physical. Just what does #crouch offer as a lone striker?
