If we could get him playing like that he could be a very shrewd signing Better watch that heart symbol celebration though! Mr Bale might come knocking at his door

He should be at the game if he's as good as signed. No doubt someone will "spot" him

Seems to have some real cockiness. You do wonder if he's the same physical specimen after his weird illness/injury. Fingers crossed. Is he just going to be a regular bench option behind the new 'permanent' striker? And where would this leave Crouchy?

Could be exactly what we need in the short term if not the long. Especially at present as looking at the bench today i wasn't getting that " game changing feeling" from any of them & strikers were conspicuous by there absence. Would like to know what the deal is with KJ today? AS mentioned above, the worry with this lad is his fitness, not his talent! We need by hook or buy crook a more nailed on goal threat through the door, ideally someone who is going to walk in & own the shirt, i fear Gudetti might not be that player?

Rob Dorsett ?@dorselator 22m
Coates: #scfc are working to get #mcfc striker John Guidetti on loan (Hughes worked with him before) and #avfc Ireland deal made permanent.

It may suit us?

Come on Bombus I think you're being harsh …he's not even pulled on the shirt yet. The few times I saw him over here in NL he battled for everything. He is a bit of a nut job admittedly and went into 30-70 and 40 -60 challenges at every opportunity…..I dunna know why but every time I watched him I always thought of the old Everton forward Duncan Ferguson - meaning not afraid to get stuck in BUT not nutting people every game ! I reckon he's sound -opinions hey !

You'd presume it leaves Jones gone this window and Crouch gone in the summer or visa versa. Wasn't the rumour that Sparky wad after a 'main' striker with Guidetti as a bench player?
