We must have signed Ireland permanently to free up the loan space. Just buzzed up on my phone, thank god something has finally started to happen. The old knock non effect is that Kenwyne can be fucked off now and maybe free up wages for another Striker from abroad can come in???

SSN just said that Man City have confirmed that Guidetti has joined Stoke on loan until the end of the season. SSN say no confirmation yet from Stoke. :D (bravo) so I take it Ireland is now a Stoke player as well (bravo) :D time for a goal frenzy at palarse (thumbsup) (thumbsup) (thumbsup) (thumbsup) (thumbsup) (thumbsup) 0 - 6 Perhaps not necessarily. Couldn't we could just end Ireland's loan to free up a berth. If so, we're in a strong position negotiating with him: "sign on our terms or fuck off".

On the basis that he has only signed for us to gain game time, fitness and a bit of experience, where will Guidetti play and who is he going to replace?

"I think id rather play against John Guidetti on Saturday rather than crouch" - maestro
I would as well if I was a Palace-fan. I hope Crouch starts - give John 10 minutes.

From that picture it's evident that either a) Guidetti is in the team and Jon's not Or b) Jon's still in and Guidetti is on the bench. Where's your money? (And before anyone gets precious I am being light hearted!)

Hope it's a good signing but I really think that loaning players to clubs in the same division is just.not right. The sooner it's stopped the better

He didn't feature in their 3rd round tie but not sure that Man City will give permission for him to play

Looking at the video in this Sentinel report, a lot of his goals for Feynoord were scored from the wide left position of a front 3 (Assaidi's position) although he does score a few with his left foot as well so he can maybe operate right across the front 3. I could allow myself to get quite excited by this bloke's potential! Sentinel report and video

Hope it's a good signing but I really think that loaning players to clubs in the same division is just.not right. The sooner it's stopped the better Well Ireland and Assaidi have done well on loan at Stoke. The only change I would make is that I don't see why the rules should not allow them to play against their parent clubs.

No one has seen him play and yet he's receiving all this adulation? For what it's worth, Altidore scored a load goals in the Dutch league too.

Great to see two signings well before deadline day, and all the recent speculation actually come true Can see John G on the bench for Palace, and coming on to net the winner Well done Stoke! Certainly livens up the Southern Supporters meeting with Tony Scholes on Friday too
