The one reservation I have is that he comes here and does as Lukaku did at the baggies last season scoring freely, He then leaves at the end of the season to leave us back at square 1. Still it's a step in the right direction and probably the only way we are going to sign a good striker without breaking the bank.

At least he will be a completely different option, if we get the ball into him in the right positions he will score, he will run the channels and look too take his man on.

No one has seen him play and yet he's receiving all this adulation? For what it's worth, Altidore scored a load goals in the Dutch league too. On the flip side,so did Suarez

But neither Altidore nor Alves were signed by Man City. Would like to hear a few opinions from their fans.

I know this sounds vague but every PROPER Man City fan I've spoken to about Guidetti come back with positives. Natural goalscorer seems to be the verdict. We shall see. Looking forward to Palarse now because it almost seems a certainty he will play some part.

If he was rubbish, surely Man City would want to sell him rather than loan him out? Let's hope it works out for him and us.

The only thing a Man City fan told me is that he suffered from some kind of 'muscle wasting' condition and has had to have a number of operations to get it sorted.
He went onto say if he hadn't suffered from it, he may well be in their first team, so positive it seems.

A handy "cut out 'n' keep" guide to commenting on future new signings. Simply cut'n'paste the following text, deleting the options as required:
I know absolutely nothing about him, but I've decided I think he's fat and useless / a fantastic natural goalscorer. Hughes is showing what a fantastic manager / fucking liability he is for signing this piece of shit / future world star and frankly deserves to be shot / the highest possible accolade.

If he's fit and ready i'd start him on Saturday, TP will no how to contain Crouchie, but Guidetti, we don't even know lol Watched him 6 times when he played at Feyenoord and he's a real live wire and shirked out of nothing. A real handful

If he was a poor player MCFC would of released him a long time ago......the fact they havent tells you they regard him highly We haven't bought him like the other two names you quoted.....he's on loan

He went onto say if he hadn't suffered from it, he may well be in their first team, so positive it seems. The "City fan" you spoke to is wrong. It was a nerve problem that led to him having no feeling whatsoever in his right leg and no operations were needed. Guidetti himself put it down to a dodgy piece of chicken so keep away from KFCs from now on. He's been getting his fitness back and has been turning out for the EDS team. With Dzeko only having 12 months left at the end of the season it's possible/likely Guidetti will be added to Aguero, Negredo and the Lesser Spotted Jovetic (although Jovetic is another story ) for next season. He'll do you fine and is a good pen taker as well. Crap dancer though.

No, and since it's a season long loan there's no reason he can't turn out for you.
