It sickens the heart. Is our 25 man squad worth 93 million?

£93m and Fabio Coentrao would be a very good deal for Spurs.

Doesn't make sense. Ronaldo is the best in the game and even he didn't cost such an absurd amount.

That is a serious amount of pressure for Bale. It could break him.

Doesn't make sense. Ronaldo is the best in the game and even he didn't cost such an absurd amount. 3 years ago before he got even better. You don't honestly think that Real would accept a similar £80M for Ronaldo now do you?? Nay chance

You don't honestly think that Real would accept a similar £80M for Ronaldo now do you?? Nay chance I wouldnt say he's got better. He was an unreal talent in his final year with United. He's scored more goals in la liga but that's due to the standard of opposition as much as anything. He scored 40 odd goals in a season for United. Bale hasn't come close to that.

Crazy money for a good player, the players spurs are buying are just as good if not better and virtually recouping all the money they spent

This is truly astonishing for a player who can go missing for 3 or 4 games and only just about good at his very best which will not be often. Spurs done a great job hyping up the talent of, IMO, a one season wonder.

He's a good player. But where will he fit in at Madrid? their midfield is overloaded as it is.

Going on pure technical talent, obviously he hasn't come close to matching Ronaldo's exploits but he's more talented for sure.
