Only if we can get close to that amount for selling N'Zonzi I believe!

Perfect NZonzi replacement but I'd be surprised if we managed to sign him

Shifting Nzonzi on is best for all. He will be an endless source of trouble.

I've been impressed with him whenever I see him. But I rather suspect he will go to a bigger club than us. I'm not sure the story is even true. There is no doubt we COULD afford £10 million but I'm not sure that Coates would allow that sort of money to be spent on a midfielder yet - even though he does show a heluva lot of potential. Before Hughes spends that sort of money, he'll have to bring in a few quid in sales.

Yes please.
But a; bigger clubs will probably be in for him and
B; 10m is a lot of money considering we are apparently winding down our spending levels.
But yes, he would be a perfect replacement for Nzonzi.

Regardless of the money, and as much as I like being linked to players such as this, will he really want to give up Champions League Football for us?

Nzonzi + Palacios + £2m. Replaces Nzonzi and gets rid of Palacios job done.

I don't think the transfer fee is the issue anymore. Its the prospect of making money when resold or at least not losing shit loads on the deal and getting value out of the player in terms of game time.

He strikes me as more of an enforcer in midfield whereas N'zonzi is a bit more cultured and able to play the ball around better. no doubt he is a quality player mind and i'd love Wanyama here.

£10m?
No chance whatsoever. Silly season I'm afraid.

Been linked with the big guns why choose us? Gaston Ramirez... Maybe he's a level headed chap who wants to make sure he's the first name on the team sheet, before he makes the leap up to Man Utd, Chelsea and Arsenal etc. It's 100% what I would do, although if I wasn't a Stoke fan, then Stoke wouldn't be my first choice at all!

I'd try to throw in a few players; a £8million + Whelan + Etherington.
Both Whelan and Etherington would do very well in the SPL, and would have better prospects of first team football next season (Hopefully).

Great to see us being linked with promising youngsters like him and Hoilett... not Carlton 'insert swear word' Cole!
I can't wait for the first game down the Brit!

Would love to see him at Stoke, but would be very surprised if we get him. I thought he's already been linked with much better offers already...

Honestly, from what I've seen I'd say that if Wanyama moves then surely it'll be to an elite club, but maybe he has regressed this season? I hope so.

...but maybe he has regressed this season? I hope so. Don't know wtf I am on about, getting mixed it cus it was only this season that they beat Barcalona in the CL. So ye, I will be so shocked if we pull this off, I think there must be some truly giant clubs keeping an eye on him. He is so good!

Yes! when I was watching Celtic play last season in the Champions League I said that he would be the perfect Stoke player. But were Man Utd interested in him last year?

If we pull this off it could... Actually will be the best investment the club will ever make. I mean we could sell him for 3 or 4 times that if he keeps progressing.

Realistically, what type of fee could we get for N'Zonzi?
If we were in for Wanyama, would the N'Zonzi fee cover the bulk of it?
