Fantastic player on his day. Such a shame what happened with him at our place.
Another Kean masterstroke telling us every week all year that he was signing and that the non existent talks they were having were "positive".

James Whittaker northstokieSounds like Hoilett could be on the agenda, Hughes gave him his break at Blackburn and signed him again at QPR who are willing to release Would be fantastic.

Same deal as Hughes.
We'd want the Blackburn Hoillet, not the QPR one.
Get rid of Crouchy off the wage bill (a PC Objective) and some cash hopefully and get a rejuvenated Hoillet.
Works for me.

This is what I can see happening. The Hoilett deal, Beggo to Liverpool in exchange for Downing plus cash. That will be our two wingers sorted. Barry bought in to strengthen mid field.

I think some will be surprised at the signings he will bring in. His best work has always been on a tighter budget.

Hoilett, Olssen and Onouha (maybe) would be a dream start to the window.

Hoilett has lost his way at QPR and has massively underperformed. If he came I'd see it as a positive move towards encouraging N'Zonzi to stay although another part of me thinks the sulky bastard should bugger off. He obviously thinks he's better than he is. If a really good offer came in I'd be tempted but our midfield will then need an even bigger overhaul.

Hoilett for Crouch?
I'm off to London tonight and back on Saturday morning. Does Crouchy need a lift down. I can bring Hoilett back en route.

Hoilett, Olssen and Onouha (maybe) would be a dream start to the window. Onouha should be playing for England, caught the QPR bug though. Hoillett - raw pace is quite something but hes awesome dribbling the ball and he's got a great shot and can work very hard. He never has his head up though. Olsson - If that's Martin or Marcus, I'l get the car started.

Olsson - A very poor left back with no positional sense or tackling/marking ability whatsoever. On the wing is a different story SAM got him playing where his electric pace caused big problems for most teams. His crossing ability in both positions is exceptionally poor. We want 4/5 million but don't think we'd miss him. You can do far far better and will.

Is Hoilett a left or right winger?
Or a bit of both.

Is Hoilett a left or right winger? Or a bit of both. A rightie can play on the left and cut inside but hes right footed and at ours mainly on the right, likes to play just off the striker though is his favoured postion. Great player, Sam really brought him on. Have you got a good right back as he's quite prone to being non-defensive in his duties.

We've got a solid enough RB in Wilkinson, so judging by what you've said he should be ok (if he comes)
