Right,
I'm sure we have all learnt our lesson here. We all thought we were billy big bolloks and wanted pulis out, but now we realise that we are fishing in the brook not the Mediterranean. Huges, dematteo, giggson, Lennon etc are all not popular so maybe the fans say
'ok coates, ou were right, I've it back to plod and we will give him our full support'
'maybe we got greedy, maybe we arena going to make the top 6 and we should make do with pulis'
Sign in to get him back, this could be our last chance and it will help pulis feel good

This was my biggest concern all along, I won't be signing however it's too late for that, change is going to happen for better or worse.

There appear to be a large number of Stoke (or should I say Pulis) supporters who wouldn't be happy even if "the chosen one" was linked to us. Baffling attitudes.

I was one of Pulis' biggest supporters but I don't think he should come back. Don't suppose that ruins your perception of all pro-pulis people as fanatics does it?

It's over, lets get on with slagging off the new potential managers.

Not at all but some of the ridiculous comments I've seen on here over recent days have bent my head. It's the made up stuff that does me in, like mcClaren relegating boro, or Hughes never finishing top ten. We seem to have gone from, little old stoke, we'll never do better than Pulis, to we are stoke no one will ever be good enough,

As much as you wouldn't like to believe, Stoke fans who supported Pulis want the best for the club. Did you honestly think we only supported Pulis?

Funny thing is only a few months ago - prior to the home defeats against Wet Sham and Villa - I was saying there was no pointing changing manager because the candidates available weren't any better than Pulis and we didn't need to gamble our Prem status. I was told that meant I had an 'agenda' or some bollocks.
Now Pulis is finally is gone everyone has suddenly realized that many of the alternatives aren't much better. No shit. Surely people realized this before? People have gone from 'anyone but Pulis' to 'nobody but Rafa'.
I'm just glad Sir Peter doesn't listen to the fans.

The last 4 seasons we've finished on 47, 46, 45 and 42 points. So Pulis has spent over 80 million and made us worse. Not good enough

Haha, I don't think you can say I told you so when 99% still agree that getting rid of Pulis was the right decision! I think most agree that all the candidates we're seriously talking about are better than Pulis. Everyone has their preferences though...maybe people should just spend more time talking up their pick than talking down all the others, then the mood would seem less negative. I'm sure that unless the new man has published a book called 'Why I Hate Stoke City', we'll all come around to him for the start of the season.

Not a hope in hell. I'd rather sit in a room full of Islamic Militants than vote to get Pulis back.
