Oh tell me the good record? Man City, QPR to name two disasters. He had very good records at Blackburn and Fulham, its harsh to judge him at Man City its obvious he wasn't the Arabs preferred manager when they brought the club. QPR was a disaster but equally the owner had no idea about football. Hughes and Coates would work imo Wales!!! Enlighten me. He kept Fulham and Blackburn in the prem and nothing more - I thought we wanted more than that?(40 points) Tell me success stories

Not particularly in favour of him but did not expect this level of negativity about Hughes

Why on earth would we swap TP for that arrogant arse. Because Pulis' brand of football was shocking, as was his mentality. His inability to trust his scouting team and shop abroad was becoming a bit fucking expensive to boot. ~He couldn't make better players settle into his methods as his countless fallings out with them proved.

I can't think of many candidates I'd take ahead of Hughes. Dunno if that says more about me, Hughes or the other realistic contenders! ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/KYqg3pYeaerc5lD_P7BR.gif)

My mates response when I mentioned I didn't mind Hughes as a manager;
"So you want to swap one welsh c##t with another, not for me thank you"

How depressing - miserable, mard-arse, disrespectful tosser........
A Yesterdays man with little more success than TP - if this turns out to be true he'll be more divisive than TP IMHO

42, 43, 43 points seems about where we are now - is this pushing on? He is not a stoke manager, not in his blood.

42, 43, 43 points seems about where we are now - is this pushing on? He is not a stoke manager, not in his blood. To be fair, he's got 63, 58 and 52 with Blackburn. That would constitute real 'pushing on' if he could replicate it here. I'm not a huge fan of his - but I get the impression he'd be more likeable if he was one of yours, not one of theirs. A bit like John Terry or Luis Suarez.

Hughes has a fine record and other than QPR has a good record in the transfer market.
He was a brash character when being the opposing manager but I reckon hes good when hes one of your own (a bit like a Robbie Savage).
Probably the biggest downer is that he will be using us to get back to the bigger clubs. We are just another job to him, and we know for sure he has zero affinity for our club

He'd be my choice bit of a twat but a decent enough record. Oh tell me the good record? Man City, QPR to name two disasters. He did well at Citeh, mate. QPR was a balls up and I'm not sure I could work for that fella at Fulham either. Blackburn was good and he was managing a below average (as always) Welsh team so there was no glory there. I think he'll fit well with PC's mindset and the squad he's inheriting. IMHO.

Have to admit i'm not his biggest fan ever since the cnut told me to fook off after i abused him over his reaction to the Wilko tackle on Dembele but if he's appointed i'll back him all the way and like others have said ABP.
