If true, some pretty disrespectful replies on here by Stokies with short memories / or who should know better. Before I get slated, I'm of the opinion that it is probably time for change, I think TP had lost sight of the vision he'd initially attempted to set up. So a change of manager is probably best to take the club forward. That said, he has my admiration, respect and thanks for everything he and this football club have achieved during his tenure. Our 2nd most successful ever manager in 150 years, if you're dancing in the street celebrating his departure you need to give your head a wobble. Onwards and upwards, BE LOYAL BE PROUD BE STOKE! That's a good summary of how a great many (probably a majority of) Stokies will feel, Will. Shouldn't you be working or summat? It's absolutely crucial now that the club get this next appointment right! ...and yeah I probably should, I'm sure my employers would understand if I took the day off to allow me to grieve properly!

If its true i would want to thank him very much for everything he has done for us, its so sad he couldnt up the stakes after the cup final when we had a decent team Come on, Matty was f**ked, Huth was no were near fit, Kenny was only 75% fit - if the bloody cup final had of been played at the proper time instead of early to suit F**king Barcalona and Man Utd - we may have been able to have a go - That one was NOT Tony's fault FFS

I didn't think it would get announced yet unless we have a replacement. Maybe the media pressure has forced us to do it sooner than we planned.
Last week it was all agreed.

Who wants us to play like Barcelona? Where has this bollocks come from? And Wolves and Blackburn's problems are far bigger than sacking their manager and they would have gone down irrespective imo. And the Bolton one is spurious at best, utter fucking bollocks at its best. Do you think Blackburn would've gone down if they'd kept Sam?? You're in the minority. When Bolton hounded Megson out, they weren't in trouble - they were just bored. Then Owen Coyle came in and very stylishly took them down. That must've been fun for them.

Shame the guy didn't get a proper send-off
Mind you its not his style to soak up any praise leave that to the Phil Brown types, that chant of "One Tony Pulis" at the end of the cup final will be the way i'll remember him.
Thanks for EVERYTHING Tone, my first european away days, first FA cup final when just getting into the Premier League would have been praise enough.
Enjoy whatever comes next for you, don't blame you if you've had enough of football management, its a thankless task.

MASSIVE news. This feels very weird - I've wanted him gone since January but now it looks like it's finally happening, it's a very bizarre feeling. In all seriousness, people should never forget what Pulis has done for this club and he should be remembered with the likes of Waddington. All the best, Tone!

Worst news I've had in ages. When we look around us at other sides who play a direct game who think they can change it to start playing like Barcelona and then go on and win the Champions League - they go down. Wolves Sacked Mick Went down Bolton Lost Big Sam Sacked Megson Went down Blackburn Sacked Big Sam Went down We're no different to these clubs in terms of size, stature, etc. I can only see this ending one way. Don't do it Coates. (all that without mentioning the words 'Curbishley' or 'Charlton') I hope this is a joke. If not:
