Can't believe it's going to happen but I'm grateful for what TP has done for this club. Yep. Wish they could've announced it so he could have got the standing ovation he deserves - before the Spurs or Southampton games Excited about the summer now though.

Sincere thanks to Tony for everything he did. But the time was right and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't delighted.

Bloody hell!
Thanks for everything, Tone.
You can leave with your head held high and the thanks of the Stoke support.
It's the right time for a change but I'm very grateful for your service to my club.
Good luck in all that you do in the future.

Jaw droppingly wreckless if true.
So insane in fact you almost have to have a grudging admiration for the sheer gall of the lunatic behind this decision.
Oh well, I'm sure there is a good plan B and next season will be fine and dandy.

Grateful for him getting us into the Premier League, and keeping us there, but he had taken us as far as he could go.
I am surprised (and relieved)that the Board have taken the decision so swiftly, and just hope that we get the right man in to take our beloved Stoke City forward into the future.

Its actually happening isnt it?! I'm feeling mixed emotions right now like everything else, he has been a great servent for this club and for that, we should all be forever grateful. However, as a manager he has become stagnant and reached the peak to where he can take us because he simply does not have it in him to change, so now a new era now dawns at Stoke City, and its really exciting to be part of it!
Thanks for everything Tone, its been a great 10 years for us!
