I thought Shea was "one for the future" and now he’s desperate for him to play ?

So yet another press conference and yet again we hear the same old diatribe being spouted by the Capped One - does he really believe it himself or is he just desperately trying to impress St Peter and the "sensible" fans "look what I've said Peter, I can change, I know we need to improve and entertain the fans etc etc etc". Not a chance.
I am sick of hearing the same crap from him week after week after week after week .
I sincerely hope that Coates et al have the bottle to see things for what they are and get rid of Pulis on Sunday night. The silence from the Board worries me, either they are going to get rid and are waiting until the end of the season, or they are happy with the end result of staying up, and don't want to say anything to aggravate the fans during the season.
Sadly I am fearing the Board are going to stick with Pulis.
It will be interesting how long it takes next season before the fans get on his back again when we see the same old "entertainment" and approach to games being served up by Pulis.
PULIS OUT - straight after the game on Sunday.

I was never expecting any announcement until after the match on Sunday. Nothing been said that we haven't all heard before. Will wait until an official announcement is made. Still hopeful he will move on and heard nothing that says otherwise.

I presume Owen will come on for the last 5 minutes. If he started and scored a couple of goals do you think that some awkward questions might be asked.

That's better FM! Cheers for that. Yeah - VERY interesting! On the subject of his chairman stepping down, he insisted he had no knowledge of rumours about his future.
He observed: "If that happens it happens, but it's always been a pleasure to work with Peter and I hope that continues because he's a very understanding fella.

Im no psychologist but have you noticed virtually all the comments today are in the past tense, which tells you something.

A send off to one of the greats? Did he actually say Shea & Owen would play? No he said we are desperate to get Shea involved on Sunday, an Owen will be a part of it

Passed down to John or a takeover of some kind? Hmm.
Do we have any idea at all if John Coates would retain Pulis' services if it was him at the helm?

All depends who next chairman is!! If it Denise/ john then pulis is finished as they can't stand each other so I believe it's all down to Peter himself and what he does. Denise is a clever business women and knows people watch football to be entertained not to be bored to death and after seeing the opportunity of extending the ground and getting bigger attendances turned down because of the shit this year on offer from pulis makes me think he's a gonna...

It's obvious that a lot on here want fancy football, just like Wigan, Reading and QPR and TP to leave. Just a thought....does that mean you anti TP types would like us relegated? I think so!

I'd think that goes without saying! Would just like a little more ambition on the pitch. Like actually trying to win games when we're 1 up and a man up!

Wow, he knows his football is shit but refuses ti recognise it. Instead he decides the best option is to twist it into a 'fans want more ofthe same' scenario. I wish someone would have the balls to say to him" tony, the fans are bored to death of your football, what do you think about that?"

MirrorTony Pulis hopes Peter Coates will carry on as Stoke chairman.
Coates, 75, has bankrolled Stoke's success story from his Bet365 gaming empire and the Potters owner is said to be considering passing over the reigns to his son John.
Pulis has a very close relationship with Coates and his position may be weakened if the multi-millionaire stands down.
The Potters boss admits he would be sad if his old friend did decide to call it a day.
"If that happens, it happens," he said. "It's always been a pleasure to work with Peter.

Haven't Peter Coates' son and daughter said that they wanted Pulis out a while a go after spending so much of "their" money?

Would John axe TP in his first day in office in a "Sorry, Dad..I'M wearing the daddy pants now!" show of muscle-flexing?
It's an interesting one.
It's a complete unknown, but would PC go along with that and say: "Well, you're the boss now, and it's your call".

AXE HIM JOHN!!! AAAAAAAAAAXXXXXXXXXXXEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!! I'd love it if Tone was doing his post-match interview and felt a little tap on his shoulder, only to turn round and be met with Denise's massive strap on thrusting in his face. "Shut your mouth you little bitch Tony," Denise would squeal while ramming the huge plastic dong straight down Pulis's throat. As Pulis gagged and tried to free himself, John Coates could enter from stage left waving some ownership documents around. "Oh dear...Daddy's had a little accident and gone to the great boardroom in the sky. Guess who's in charge now?! Mwhahahahaha"
