There is the reason he keeps kissing "The Coates Family" arse, if he was doing such a fantastic job they would be kissing his instead.
I more than expect a lot more arse kissing and self promotion over the next 5 week, this guy is a worried man and rightly so. He knows damned well this is the biggest and only gig in this league he will ever get near.
Time to go.

The fact that our current manager seems to have more chance of plaitng snot than getting another managerial job in the Prem?

At least if nothing else we've established that the clueless one wants to stay. Over to you Uncle Pete. Fuck him off!

If he wants to stay he will stay. Seeing the names of some of the shit the football managers on here are putting forward I hope he does stay.

It certainly seems that way considering we have been in it for 5 years and not heard even a rumour of Pulis wanted by another club.

I have just heard on the grapevine that Alan Curbishley is in the frame if TP decides to leave. :-(

If they thought the fan feedback wash harsh they would step in and back him up. It seems more & more like PC is taking a back seat and the transition is taking place of who is taking control. I get the impression they are about as impressed with TP as some PHW's. They have my full support.

The board arent stupid and I feel confident they will make the correct decision (a decision that entails bringing the clueless ones turgid tenure to a close). To be fair we did have 6 weeks of glory in the cup final season which saw us play a game that at least resembled what most call football. The last 2 seasons have been absolutely dour.

That is not my job but if it was I'm certain I would have a hell of a lot better idea if I was privvy to the ins & outs of the club and future plans.
I think Steve Maclaren would be a good choice, Martin O Neill would also be a good bet if we have a bit of money to spend. Personally I would puruse Moyes & would be allready doing so.
Sven Goran Erikkson would also be very interesting.
All three are a better option than TP.

Oh, and you can take Moyes off your short list since I said realistic. So who is it going to be?

MacLaren, I think the education he has taken overseas in different styles, different tactics and not least player markets of these countries would only serve us well. Sven makes me curious though, his C.V puts 99.9% of Prem managers to shame.

Some dog shit suggestions there I'm afraid, thank god you don't make any decisions at Stoke City.

Sven has had so many clubs, he at to be successful at a few of them. Really, I'd say he has been successfull in 99% of his positions, Man City supporters started a campaign S.OS (Save Our Sven). He was a very decent England manager aswell. You are amusing though I'll give you that. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sven_Goran_ErikssonThis guy is a realistic target.

Ive put Svens name on here months ago and got shot down in flames for it.........at least someone else can see what he could bring to us...... Top top coach (plus we might get Uuuuulllllrikakakakaka in the stands and let me be the first to say it - I still would!
