Quote....The last two performances against Newcastle and West Brom have been pretty good, if we had got a break in either we could have taken the three points......Jesus,it's statements like this makes me believe there is no light at the end of the tunnel,is that what you and Pulis really think.....then you two are taking us down ....what kind of break were you looking for in those games.....something like their goalkeeper chucking it in his own net perhaps....i truly despair at this mentality coming from our so called management team, this kind of statement does nothing for the confidence of all of those who have renewed!!!!!!!!!!!!

You create your own breaks in football. They seem to forget that.

He's also been criticising the FA's decision to ban Huth for hitting Senderos. I'm not sure how he can justify defending that.

It's fucking unreal isn't it.
It's like claiming we "just needed something to drop" after the Fulham game after they gifted us a one on one and gave away a penalty, and we had created nothing for ourselves in the whole 90 minutes. How much luck do we need!!!
I'm just left utterly perplexed by exactly what massive stroke of fortune he's expecting to result in a goal for us. I mean, if you're camped in the oppositions 18 yard box for 90 minutes fair enough, if you're camped on the edge of your own it's an entirely different kettle of fish

Just public positivity I hope.
If he and Tone really think we are playing well privately then we are in deep shit

In alot of cases i would think that it was management just putting on a positive face. However, with these clowns i honestly think that they believe what they are saying, which as stated, is deeply worrying!!!

I just hope and pray they don't really believe the shite they're shovelling. To go through 90+ mins at home and only have 1 shot on target is unacceptable whoever we are playing. Wouldn't be so bad if we'd had 20 shots off target and our players were just firing blanks that game but we just don't create anything anymore.
Just cant understand why we can't play 4-4-2, its proven to suit Pulis' style of play, for his tactics to work he needs 2 wingers and 2 up front. Not striker on wing, midfielder lost in the cage and no fcker anywhere near striker.
Pulis' football can be exciting when done right and he's proven it but at the moment it's fcking shite home and away.
I just hope Pulis doesn't ruin his own good work, he should be remembered for all he has done for our football club but I fear his own negativity will be his own downfall and some fans will end up hating him. He's killed going away for me but at the moment I still respect him and am thankful but I'm already bored to tears at matches, there is just no entertainment at the moment, very little to stand up for. Anyone who knows me will know I'm very animated at football matches and lately I've just been sitting in my seat thinking I could do with a footrest and a heated seat as I spending that long in it.

Hes not criticising the Fa's decison in banning him hes criticising the fact that they were allowed to ban him but not allowed to ban wigans player for that foul on the castle player

Felt we were a bit unlucky away at Ncastle, and we certainly sent more men forward despite not creating many clear cut chances! At least we deserved a point I think! We were also the team who certainly wanted to win the game versus WBA the most, but they used our away tactics and overpopulated their own penalty area. Jones probably had the best chance, but a draw was a fair enough result as the game against Ncastle would have been.

Just a minor point but "Just cant understand why we can't play 4-4-2, its proven to suit Pulis' style of play, for his tactics to work he needs 2 wingers". Which two wingers and please don't suggest Pennant. One of our major failings has been the demise of both Ethers and Pennant almost of the same period.

17 wank shots from miles out into row Z don't constitute genuine chances.

In his post match interview following the WBA game, Pulis mentioned luck with Walters deflected shot passing the wrong side of the post. But for the deflection it wouldn't have threatened goal at all.
He also mentioned needing a goal of some description like the one Everton had scored earlier that day...when was the last time one of our central midfield players hit a genuine, long distance, goal threatening shot? N'zonzi v West Ham is probably the only one of the season so far so there is no chance of us scoring a Leon Osman type goal.

By long distance Dave I take it that you mean out of our own half seeing as for the most part we are penned in it.

I'm not suggesting either, what we should've done was address this situation back in January when it was plain obvious we were getting no creativity at all from our wingers, ok we signed Shea but he's not fit and we all knew it'd be next season before we really saw him. I'm just saying for Pulis' way to work he needs 2 wingers.
