Isn't TP still on a rolling 12 month contract? Yes, he is. And the club is on it's best run for over 100 years!!

So when he goes, we have to pay him one year salary?
What's that - £1.5m-£2m?
Small price to pay to see some entertainment! Oh for the return of that matchday buzz.......
All we get now is a matchday zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

I would prefer to spend that kind of money on a Tongue/Davies/Sonko/Soares et al and really push us on. Or we could spend another ten plus million on two midfielders who can't get in the team ahead of Walters and Whelan. Sent from my GT-I9100 using proboards

The whole thread speaks volumes about all that is wrong with OUR club at present. What frustrates me the most is that everyone feels afraid to vent their true feelings when at the Brit. Its easy to vent our frustrations on here or via Radio Stoke etc. We need to stand together collectively at the games and make our point loud and clear. If we want him gone then lets make our voices heard on Saturday. Maybe then the family, the local rag, the national media etc will start taking notice and begin to reap the pressure on that stubborn baseball cap wearing dinosaur of a manager we have. If we continue to do nothing at the game vocallly to show our true feelings of continued frustration then nothing will change. A great period for the club but one that is now being spoiled and pissed all over by a very stubborn and condescending prick. I seem to recall a certain chap with several boxes full of red cards.....maybe its time for them to be taken out of the loft. Sent from my GT-I9100 using proboards You are right Ringo, and I wonder if its because everyone is aware of the high feelings either way that means people shut up rather than risk getting into a row? or maybe its as the original poster suggests that so many feel completely numb and devioid of feeling to get angry? A fully belted out chant of WE WANT FOOTBALL on Saturday would be a good start! BM

Excellent post and sums it up for me. I have never been so uninterested in Stoke's results as these days, even at the match. Before, if we lost, I'd sulk for hours, but now I just think, "Oh well, at least I'll seeing the lads for a few beers later". I just feel numb and anaesthetised to them these days, the passion's gone. The day TP goes for good will be one of the happiest of my Stoke-supporting life. It's depressing isn't it, I will have a full on party the day Pulis leaves and the only reason for that is that I will start to care and be passionate about us again! I also might attending a few more games, I live in London and didn't even bother for the Fulham game as I knew exactly what to expect.

This steady 5 seasons is the first time we have ever managed to finish so comfortably above the relegation zone for 5 successive seasons in the top league the history of the club. I'm gob-smacked. So we should all be grateful for the amount of money we spend as supporters watching a brand of football that can only be described as fucking horrible?
Or do the majority of us who are fed up with his clueless tactics and team selections start to vent our frustrations in the correct manner.
The manager shows very little respect to the supporters of Stoke City Football Club. In my opinion its about time that we started to show him our 'true' feelings.
I am sick to death of him thinking of us as stupid spectators who should be grateful of all he has done.

March you are as boring as anything Pulis could produce in his wildest fanatsies.
You are, like him a one trick pony, with one tactic. In your case it is the insistence that without Pulis we are certain relegation fodder.
Like him, you are condecending mess of contradictions, in your case slagging players or tactics but praising the man who buys them and selects them and tells them how to play.
Like him, you are good at only one thing, in your case it is adding fuel and frenzy to the Pulis burning fires. Aaaahhh......I now see your genius!

It's a difficult call for Coates. We are safely mid table and almost guaranteed mid table security for as long as Coates backs Pulis. Coates is also head of a global company that is branded with Stoke City. Stoke City are possibly the most negative brand in the PL, for three years we were famous for Rory's throws and we don't even have them anymore! However whilst Pulis is in charge and being backed by Coates we'll stay in the top league. Ironically Coates may have to gamble to fully exploit the advertising opportunities available as the owner of a global company

Waddo broke the British transfer record, the world transfer record and was paying a player the highest wage to any footballer in the UK. He never went longer than 3 years without a relegation battle, Rob. I'm amazed when looking through the records that we have been embroiled in so many relegation battle from the very first season the league existed. Considering TP is now establishing a club record, you can argue it is money very well spent.

I enjoyed the Euro league and felt proud of our club. Our manager decided that a 1-0 deficit was enough to take a reserve team over to Spain as a true reflection of our continued progression. From that moment on, I am unable to be a supporter of Tony Pulis. The guy is slowly but surely ripping the heart and soul out of the club. We need to all remember that this is not Messrs Coates or Pulis'club but ours. Sent from my GT-I9100 using proboards

I said on here Crouch would be first choice center forward once his choppers were right. Our wankness is directly linked to Tone's need to be proved right. I am quicker than Crouch!! Watching him flounce around like a Daddy Long Legs on Valium is one of the most frustrating sights in football.
