Yes so expect Adam 'in the hole' and Walters on the wing again If that's the team I am walking out the ground. Pulis Out I'd quite like to watch that level of clownery.

Next 5 home games are all winnable. Wigan, Reading, West Ham, West Brom and Villa. So a 1-0 thrashing of Wigan on Tuesday will start the ball rolling nicely. In between these we also have away games that we could easily sneak a point or two from, Arsenil, Fulham, Newcastle and Everton. So by Easter we could be sitting on 43-44 points and ready for the run in which, with the exception of Man Utd and Spurs, isn't too bad with a home banker against Norwich and 2 or 3 points away to Sunderland, QPR and Southampton. We can still get to 50 points and a top half finish. Stay positive, we've had a bad run in Jan against some tough opposition.

The 4 away games means no points because they are away! have you seen our suicide away tactics of just one win in 21!!!?

Wigan always seem to have our number at home...it's one of those teams we really need to attack. Our stifling tactics have been shown not to work in recent seasons in this game.

Wake up leslie. The 4 away games means no points because they are away! have you seen our suicide away tactics of just one win in 21!!!? one win but still 9 points away this season. Get a grip, as I said we've had some tough opposition in January. We've ridden the storm of almost two thirds of the season, which included a 10 game unbeaten run and sit nicely poised on 29 points. The final third looks a decent run in and, if we don't get to 40 points at the very least, then that is the time to start thinking about changes up stairs.

Given our recent run, our poor defensive performances in the league and powder puff attack then it is a must win and it is a must perform well too.
Clean sheet will be a good bonus and confidence booster for the back 9.

anybody else feel like tuesday night is one of the biggest games of the season in terms of where our season is heading. win tuesday night, get the good feeling back around the club and i think we can really push on in our attempt to break into the top 10 lose tuesday night, and i fear we may see this season peter out much in the way it did last year. wigan are shite, and must surely go down this season, i dont think theyve got the individual quality theyve had in previous years when theyve performed the great escape late on in the season......doesn't mean they wont come and play us off the park at the Brit like they usually bloody do though!

It will be the same as any game.
Pulis pre match warning to be cautious of Wigan and Martinez being a good manager. Pulis naming a starting 11 that bewilders everyone except Martinez who sniffs fear and tells his team to attack and grab the game by the throat. Pulis will try to keep it at 0-0 until the 60th minute. Wigan will either score 5 mins before half time or before the 60th minute. Suddenly Pulis and Stoke will wake up and inspired and finally turn up to play a game of football.

I'm pretty sure we will win Tuesday and that will virtually guarantee premiership football for another season. Imo 36 points will be enough this year so a win Tuesday would leave 4 more points to get which we will do with ease.

Pulis's mentality will be a point against Wigan and all the easier sides will be good enough to see us stagger to the forty point mark as usual......

Why would you be nervous? Its a game, if we win great, but don't lose sleep mate. To me and quite a few others SCFC is the most important aspect of their life besides family! I feel the same, mate. At my age I ought to have more sense, but the longer I support Stoke, the worse I get. I'm going back to my young days, when I start, literally, losing sleep worrying about the next game.

I'm desperate to see is win
I have no agenda other than a successful Stoke City. It is a shame that we can't feel confident but this is Wigan and we don't seem to have ever had the measure of them.
Lets hope we vote the points and confidence returns

Wigan are bottom of the 'matches v top half' table. We are still in the top half I guess ;D
On the other hand their away record is ok.
Kone is missing which helps as he's the type we struggle against.
I am praying we win as I think it's a season-turning type game if we lose at home to such a poor team. Win well and it could lift our mood, and our form, significantly.

Why would you be nervous? Its a game, if we win great, but don't lose sleep mate. People like you really get on my nerves. This is a football message board, people are passionate about their club and in our current form are worried about our next game against a team who we rarely do well against. I suppose you think football is just eleven men just kicking a bag of wind about. If you feel so dispassionately about the game and Stoke City FC why are you even here? Beacuse i support the club & TP and have probably been to more games than you have had hot dinners, I'll be there against Wigan too. I just don't get the people that think we are doomed or want rid of TP. It won't happen, pulis is here to stay & move us forward
