This is a game we should be winning by 2 or 3 goals, i conna see 1, whats fuckin happened with my team...................... The last good performance was the Liverpool game and that was down to the ref givin them an early penalty, lifted everyone...!!!!! Massive game on tuesday, possibly the most important af the season......................... Pressure is on Tony, possibly your biggest game as well, we need a win to lift everyone.. Come on Tone, Come on Stoke,

Pulis will most likely treat it as a game we cant afford to lose,so dont expect us to go all out to win it.

Why would you be nervous? Its a game, if we win great, but don't lose sleep mate.

I live in London & travel to most games home & away but to make yourself ill or to let it get to you does not help you or the team.

I dont loose sleep Sunflower, its just that feeling you get in the stomach (best described as nerves) that you know something is not right and somebody needs to sort it and quickly..... btw, i hate when people say "its only a game" sorry.... it's not, its life.....!!!! if we win life is good, if we loose life sucks ( for a few days anyway)

I can't see past a win to be honest. H There certainly aren't any viable excuses why we shouldn't win given the excuses we make when we lose.

Why would you be nervous? Its a game, if we win great, but don't lose sleep mate. People like you really get on my nerves. This is a football message board, people are passionate about their club and in our current form are worried about our next game against a team who we rarely do well against. I suppose you think football is just eleven men just kicking a bag of wind about. If you feel so dispassionately about the game and Stoke City FC why are you even here?

Wigan isn't must win but it certainly is need to win. After doing so well getting no points in January would be a real letdown.

Agree. RAF. We are out of form but as is often the case it's nothing a win won't put right. A good performance and win would blow a lot of the January cobwebs away

I suppose you think football is just eleven men just kicking a bag of wind about. If you feel so dispassionately about the game and Stoke City FC why are you even here? And people like you really get on my nerves. Where do you get off with this devout belief that if someone doesn't live and breathe Stoke City, they're somehow not a proper fan? How many of the 23000 we get at home, or even of the 12-15,000 we could call stalwarts, do you really think are like that? Most of the people round me on the Boothen seldom miss a game, many of them go to all the away games as well, and some of them travel a fair distance, but they all have many other things in their lives (I do talk to them about all kinds of stuff); supporting Stoke is definitely not the be-all and end-all of their lives. Are they not proper fans? Please try to understand that not everybody is like you. Not even everybody on this board is like you. For every wrightspies and silkystoke, there's a sunflower, who you just blithely insulted. We're all Stoke fans, so let's, as many others have said, stop the fucking cock measuring.

My worry is we'll just keep banging in the same tired door though. Hope I'm wrong.

Need to stay positive and play without nerves or we may come unstuck. Last thing we need is any nerves from the fans transferring to the pitch so we have to be behind the players from the start. Only 2 of the top 5 to play and mid table at this stage is good for me. Need to push on now.

I have a feeling it will be a VERY backs to the wall narrow 1-0 win. One where we nick a goal in the 80th minute and then defend. Similar to portsmouth in the 1st or 2nd season in the prem when ric scored but it was boring as anything.
