In fairness, £4,000,000 for Jerome is utterly obscene money. You wouldn't get that sort of price for him from any other club on the planet. Every man has his price and that's a considerable amount more than Jerome is worth. What, in a world where Jordan Rhodes cost £8m?

The loss of Ric would have been easier to bear had we signed a younger version of him who could match him for impact. Like a certain Demba Ba ? Maybe, although he'd have started acting the twat before too long no doubt.

Beggars belief that anyone could want to see the back of him given how often he's changed games this season and how few options we have who can do that. Oh, he has a poor first touch. Boo fucking who, who cares if he's quick and can score goals? He has had an odd few games where he has offered us something different off the bench but whenever he has started he has offered us nothing. We might have as well kept Fuller for the odd cameo from the bench and save 4m. Bollocks that Gaz. 'A few odd games'? Try 'pretty much every game he's come on in'. It's a myth he's been a failure whenever he's started as well.

Sell jerome wouldn't bet against the jones rumours either , pennant going too but michael Peter and mama provide us with all our forward options plus misfit Charlie of course If this is or jones is true no fate that befalls us is anything but deserved

What the fuck. Some serious questions have to be asked if we get rid of our only exciting player. And our only player capable of making things happen from the bench. Fuck me how one dimensional is Pulis trying to make us? Presuming we sell Jerome, then all we need to do is sell Jones and Pennant and we've essentially got the most boring team of all time. Great stuff. Fuck this is bad news. MD how is 4 million a lot of money for him? Hes a proven premier league goalscorer and happens to be one of the quickest players in England.
This is an awful deal for the club if it goes through.

I only ever see him coming off the bench for us and in that sense it's a decent price but I think we'd be completely mad to let him go personally. He is so different to any other attacking player we have.

Can't believe some of the idiots on here, Jerome has those vital assets pace and brute force which we should be making more use of, he is the only genuine game changer that we have. So because people have a different opinion to you they are idiots? Go to bed kid you have school in the morning. Ooh what a put down, I went to my 1st match in '63 how about you? You're quite correct everyone is entitled to an opinion .

I agree it would be crazy and i dread the thought of us having no changes or pace if we continue to be one dimensional but Pulis just does not rate him so its best to recoup what we sold him for if all this is true ? If he goes ( and even if he doesnt ) the side needs pace and more pace

You mean in the same way that he had someone line up after we sold Tuncay for similar money? Who was our replacement for Ric?

Hes a game changer and a match winner off the bench...unless you're prepared to pay a lot of money.

Very disappointed if he leaves, but then again I won't go berserk until I see who the replacement is. Jerome is one of very, very few players in the squad who offers something else and gives the manager an option to change things around. No point selling him if not a better player is being brought in?!

If Jerome goes to Cardiff that doesn't mean like for like replacement it might go else where. We might see Mama back in the 25.

Totally clueless when it comes to signing attacking players who fit the system and actually improve us.

We have seen the game changers and players who could create something from nothing dissappear and not be replaced in Fuller and Tuncay. If Jerome goes then thats it from that side of things? TP does like his steady Eddies
