Is it because you think The Darkies are treated differently SS? Not that he was charged with a different offence? Why not just say what's on your mind? I will not be debating anything with you from this point on because you obviously have friends in high places. After all you can openly call someone a cunt and nothing is said but as soon as I said something against you (not as aggressive as cunt) I got a 3 day ban. Go figure?? apparently it's acceptable to use the term darkie too

"The darkies"?
Gentlemen, remove yourselves from the internet immediately. It appears it hasn't been invented yet.

I believe for SS it is indeed 1973.
I do deal in opinion. I just want SS to stop beating around the bush and get to his.

Greyman...We all know Staffords view on this matter. It has been done to death on here already.
Why do you want to rake up such a view again? It is pointless. Stafford isn't offended by abuse based on one's colour of skin and believes it to be on a par with abusing someone for being ginger.
Let's not go there again. Let sleeping dogs lie!
John Terry is a cunt, regardless of the racist nature of his cuntishness and that should be the end of the discussion. Good riddance I say. It will make England slightly easier to watch without the likes of him involved.

John Terry is absolute scum no matter what criteria you apply.
All of this brave defender and "laying his body on the line" shit is bollocks! That's the least you can expect of any player. Might be a good premiership player but the fact is that when he has been tested at the absolute top level he has been found wanting because he runs like an immobile, timble toed faggot, is vulnerable on the ground against small technical players with quick feet and loses his man when he comes up against top class movement.
How long had been on the pitch on saturday before he was acting the hard man and getting involved in things in his normal twattish way? He's as thick as he is thick skinned. Terry is to football what Danny Dyer is to top class acting!
Watching England will be a slightly less conflicting experience now that the shit house is no longer there to irritate me.

An Independent Regulatory Commission has today [Thursday 27 September 2012] found a charge of misconduct against John Terry proven and has issued a suspension for a period of four matches and a fine of £220,000, pending appeal.

Probably about right in the light of the Suarez case where Suarez was a repeat offender in the match in question. I suppose the fine = 2 weeks wages?

Has John Terry learnt his lesson, now?
Personally, I don't think so.
Whatever he said to Jonny Walters on Sat, clearly got Jon madder than I've ever seen him.
Poor bugger.

Can't believe he avoided a ban. There was no cultural ambiguity with John terry. This mean he is officially a racist cunt? He hasn't avoided a ban - he's got 4 games (subject to appeal) Is your inability to read the reason why you earned so much flack on the Hillsborough thread? ;D

Terry= 4 game ban and 220k fine. Suarez= bigger ban and fine. Rio Ferdinand= 42k fine. Show me how any of that is consistent? It is always said by many on here that racism is racism so explain the differing punishments? All bollox!

More bollox from a corrupt fa! I presume you don't think the punishment was harsh enough? I beg to differ - I think it was spot on. the great thing about this punishment is the damage to his reputation. The argument that he was cleared in court. In other professions merely going to court is grounds for further action in work to be looked at. At the end of the day he admitted using the words regardless of context, I seriously don't believe him to be a racist but he had to be punished or the whole kick racism out of football suffers a setback.

It is always said by many on here that racism is racism so explain the differing punishments? All bollox! Well, I didn't sit on the FA panel so I'll have to guess a bit. Suarez's offence was repeated several times during the game in question. So he got a harsher punishment than John Terry who allegedly made a racist comment once. The Rio case I know less about - but didn't he simply comment on what someone else had tweeted? So he was a sort of second level offender, if you like. That's my guess anyway.
