Well that was the best draw so far for me, sure there were faults and we shouldn't have gone behind so early, on another day we'd have got a reward for the late pressure - but we ended strong, we got CHARLIE ADAM on the pitch in a Stoke shirt, and we genuinely went for it. 8 and feeling an awful lot more cheerful

Some real glimmers of hope for a more exciting brand of football on its way.

Got his starting line-up wrong by leaving out Adam and shunting Cameron onto the wing.
Fair play to him though, bit the bullet and chucked Adam on after half an hour and changed the game. It's just a shame we didn't get the winner that our second half performance deserved!

6.5 strange tactics at times, ie Whitehead right mid. Was right to bring Adam on so early.

6.5 we were all over the place before Wilko's enforced substitution, which helped to change things for the better Kept Whitehead on all game and only used 2 subs when he was clearly lacking and needed to go off Stopped us going for the kill the last ten minutes when Wigan were there for the taking

5 - should of started the game with the tactics we ended with, it could of been 3 points instead of 1. 2 points dropped due to a severe lack of balls once again.
The change was only made because Wilko got a bang to the head otherwise we would of seen it out until halftime. When Wilko went off he would not of dared to bring on another defender when we are trailing. Morally he had no choice but to go for it.

I said on the way out of the game that I haven't seen us show that much attacking intent away from home for a long, long time. I raised doubts yesterday over whether Adam will be given the freedom to get forward and put his passing abilities to good use by supporting attacks, and he did so on numerous occasions today. Very refreshing to see. His inclusion completely turned the game and you've got to give credit to Pulis for identifying the problem and have the courage to make the correct change early on. We managed nearly double the amounts of shots at goal that Wigan did today, we can count ourselves unfortunate not to have won really. Plenty of positives to take into the Man City game.

6 ) positive but quite sureal to watch at times , in my opinion he should of taken whelan of dropped whitehead into the centre and brought pennant on to exploit the huge space on the right !
Not sure if wilko sub was forced or intended , thank god it happened anyway !

8 for me.
Wilko was not injured - maybe deafened from the blasting he was getting from Pulis before he came off. Could have sent Adam on and played Cameron at RB in a continued 4-4-1-1 but the system changed straight away after long instructions to Adam who then went on and spoke to Walters and Cameron pointing to the pitch to implement the changes Pulis had told him to take on and explain.
Recognised it was not working and changed it.
Would take a lot to get a 10 - many things still need to be worked on but very very positive that we have a sign that things are about to change ... hopefully !

good first substitution
didn't agree with taking kightly off and thought he could have used the third substitution
massive points for going for the win at the end rather than sitting back
thoroughly enjoyed the second half

awful starting 11, nobody knew where they should be, defensively poor, leaving whelan on the pitch was suicide, the bloke is garbage. If wilko hadnt have got injured the stubborn git wouldnt have changed it.

Made the right change with Adam, second sub would have been great but Jerome fluffed his lines...can't blame TP for that but maybe Jones would have been a better bet...still, who knows?
If we can get Adam feeding 2 wingers then maybe Crouch will get the sort of service he needs and we can move forward

8 for an away game (6 if it was at home) - He was always going to give Adam a run out today and start him in the first home match. A lot of teams don't start their new signings bang off the mark. RVP didn't start on his debut.

7+ for me, and that's because he had a go to win the game at the end. Makes a nice change, and we were unlucky not to come away with all three points because he did that.

8.5 Is this the beginning of an adventurous Tony Pulis, I don't know but for me he delivered a game that we looked fucking dangerous on every attacking movement and that is all we could ask for. My only reservation is if we had taken the lead would he have reverted back to the old dull backs to the wall plan? Still well done Tone and to players for one hell of a spectacle.

Pisser ;D So basically you are saying he did what you would have done

Best away game i have seen for a long time without doubt, Not to happy with how we set up from kick off. Thought we where a bit unlucky with the pen, and that knocked us for a bit and were on the back foot has per normal. But then a stroke of luck. dicko has to come off. Pulis then changes the whole system and the rest has they say is history. Well done pulis for that. 8 for me.

8.5 Saw his mistake and changed it early on, unlucky not to win. Absolute bullshit. Injury forced change around not tactics. His starting eleven went to grind out a 0 0 draw it just so happened we were absolute garbage during the first 30 mins and he had to make the sub so he had nothing to lose. Will he learn from it, I very much doubt it.
