For an Arsenal game it was relatively subdued. Did we get a Delilah? I didn't hear one. We didn't even have too much appetite for Wenger baiting. My you the 'He would have scored that, he would have scored that, Robin Van Persie he would have scored that'...was rather enjoyable.

This whole 12th man bollocks makes me cringe. Does any other club play up to it as much as Stoke. We even have a shitty flag with it on.
Crazy idea but how about the manager and players give us something cheer about? Myself and the majority around me are bored to tears with it.
If this is entertainment I may find myself leaving the season ticket at home and going to do something worthwhile with my limited spare time.

Early kick offs are never ideal - Not enough ale consumed to oil the vocal chords

Come on guys, this is silly. Why are Stoke fans turning on fellow Stoke fans? The atmosphere very much reflected the game today and, sadly, the run we've been on in 2012. The support at Reading las week was absolutely fantastic and even today it started off superbly. The fans answer the call time and again (as they did when 6,000 turned up in Valencia and got treated to a reserve team line-up) Eventually though there has to be something to cheer about, something to put a bit of fire in the belly's of the fans. We're not scoring goals and we're not even creating chances. The fans are the absolute least of any problems we have at the club. i disagree, unrest in the stands, which we have at the moment will quickly filter onto the pitch, which in turn will make the players nervous. away fro home this season i expect to see us gain more points than in previous seasons and i doubt our home form will be that of previous seasons. not because of tactics before anyone blames tony but simply becaise of nervous errors

Why is everybody panicking & assuming that we have lost the 12th man? I'm sure he'll be back again when we play one of the big clubs...

Wenger standing up. Arsenal hitting the ball 20ft over the goal. And erm...............

If the team the manager throws out give us nothing to shout about the only thing to make a noise about is booing Ramsey or calling wenger a wanker

You lot lost after your first season up. one season wonders, now you're just another Norwich or Southampton full of happy clappers, devoid of proper working class fans, and you slate Old Traff for being a morgue, our away fans by far and away the best full of proper rough fans. You lot come to Old Traff and take pics, day the trippers the lot of you.

Thought the atmosphere was ok to begin with, but the way Arsenal approached the game in conjunction with Wenger's comparatively muted touchline demeanour and our own lack of attacking intent starved the crowd of anything to rally behind.Even the booing of Ramsey and the Wenger bating seemed all too perfunctory and apathetic.

Man united will always have a good away following because the team roll into various towns where you glory hunting wankers actually live and get too easier, now piss off.

Arsenal knew that a hostile crowd favoured us and not them. Everything in the first hour was geared to killing the crowd. Wenger made sure not to make a scene and spent most of the game sat down. Arsenal played mind numbing halfway-line keep ball and kept their usual antics to a minimum. They may have been dreadful on the pitch, but Arsenal's biggest strategy worked perfectly. Very well said, especially Wenger - he was on his best behaviour to stop up biting back. There really wasnt much to sing about, no strong tackles,no passion,no excitement, no anger,no poor old us and nothing at all antagonistic to rile us.

Any and all bad results blamed on the fans not "playing their part"? Sorry but it's a symbiotic relationship between what happens on the pitch and in the stands. And it's hard to get excited about your team playing not to lose for 90 minutes rather than trying to win.
