I thought he was full of energy, really bright and looked to make things happen
I can't say that I thought he looked any less fit than the rest of the team!

Bearing in mind that he's been thrown straight into CM, in a game where we were outnumbered in midfield for quite a chunk of the game, he's never been used to the pace of the game like he'll see here before, playing against a side miles ahead of us technically, he did well. Sometimes a little off the pace, but overall showed more in 90 mins than some of our other CM candidates have shown for 12 months. Very 'rangy' style to his game, give him 5-6 games and he'll be up to speed, a quality signing. Then he can score a hat trick every week, to keep the OP happy

I have read your first post. Nothing about fitness. You said he looks like a lost boy in new school.
I said why do you expect him be brilliant when pundits and co say you have to give £30m foreign players months to settle in to the pace of the prem
What's wrong with that?

When I say he looked lost I was on about how he was walking around a lot and didn't see much of the ball in the first half, why can't people respect opinions before they go insulting jesus.

Agree with Hackett, looks like centre back to me. Looked, understandably, a bit off the pace. If Whelan had given the ball away as much as Cameron did, everyone on here would be going mental with rage.

Bit of a mixed debut, I thought.
Some very good stuff, but (understandably) needs to adapt to the pace of our game.
Adding half a stone of muscle would help aswell.

Like a school boy on the playground after he just moved to the new school. Anti-American bias. Looks excellent to me and seemingly to most Stokies here. I don't think there is any anti-American bias. On the whole I thought he had a good game and I don't think it will be too long before he gets up to speed. I understand the OP's point of view because I thought exactly the same on a number of occasions. I think it is more about getting used to how we play rather than any sense of being out of his depth which he most certainly was not in my opinion. He looked a useful addition to the team...and a long throw to boot..fantastic

Your entitled to your opinion, that's fine, but maybe next time wait till you see a bit more before putting something out that you know people might not agree with. Personally I thought him and Kightly put a lot of the old guard to shame and Cameron deserved man of the match.

Thought the speed of the game caught him a bit by surprise at first and he was knackered at the end which was not surprising. Overall a decent start, nothing to get carried away with, but considerable hope and signs that there is a lot of improvement to be expected
