Still a free agent and still searching for a club. There was a link over the weekend about a move to Ipswich however there doesn't seem to be too much interest. Either ...
1) Ric is asking for too much money in terms of wages 2) Ric wants a two year deal which no one is willing to give him 3) Maybe the great man simply isn't good (fit?) enough
It's a crying shame that he's seemingly confined to the football scrap heap afetr his terrific time with us. I'm pretty certain he could still do a decent job for a Championship club at the very least.

Crying shame as in he's obviously pricing himself out of a move and is content not to play ?

As Clyde says.
I can't imagine him being anywhere near fit enough.

Screwed himself by going on trials. Admits defeat if he is trying to hard ball a deal. Clubs have the upper hand and the player has no chance demanding anything. Gets all he is offered.

fuller is class, the present manager is rubbish, why oh why are the stoke fans allowing the tp to continue to take at least 1.5 million pounds a year fro the club. several others on this oatcake fee The same. I don't care that he has lasted several tiresome years, it,s time for him to go and go now

Hopefully he'll get himself a club and we can have a proper look at whether he could have done another year with us.

Shame he hasn't found anywhere to settle yet. You'd imagine he'll hold out for what he's worth while other clubs will surely look at his fitness record in recent seasons. Three dislocated shoulder injuries against Sunderland, Newcastle and Bolton in the last couple of years + that achilles tendon injury he picked up in the game at Villa Park. We got excellent mileage out of him but his body certainly didn't have the best of times between 2009 - 2011

Once a legend, always a legend.
It felt stange at Reading that I was watching our team without Ric for the first time in over 6 years.
I doubt I'll see anyone else with his ability to turn something out of nothing for may a long year, and before anyone says anything, I've been watching Stoke home and away for 34 years.
He truly was magic.
Should have been offered a 12 month extension with a view to coaching and working in the local community - aka Rory Delap.
RIP RF10 legend

If you love it, let it go Yeah, he was well past it in our 3rd season in the Prem against Birmingham when he ran from the halfway line, beat several defenders before slotting the ball in the top corner from 25 yards, WITH HIS WEAKER LEFT FOOT. Yeah, he was well past it 2nd season. He was shite Fook me, I must be a retard
