No Trousers, it's because he's such a crook , he will have hacked into the chairmans bank account and stolen it for his dog! according to some geniuses on here. H If you took my comment seriously, you're a bigger dick than your posts suggest. I haven't even seen your post Shitty, it's a point that has been made time and time again on here. H

The manager's position isn't seriously under question and won't be this season, so it's a daft question.

It's better in terms of paranoia and it's braver than beating around the bush, if not somewhat arrogant. However you will note I said Geniuses, so I wasn't actually pointing at one person in particular. Like I've said it's something that has been said time and time again on Redknapp threads, it just so happens you've trawled out the same line as others before you. It's coincidence, however if you believe it was aimed at you then you believe that, I certainly wouldn't be bothered about telling you if I was Shitty, believe me. H

Bloody hell can we not discuss things in a rational, measured way without the stasi getting upset? The club is separate from the team, the manager and even the board, and it is the club which I support. Sent from my HTC One S using proboards if we dont know anything about football or board, lets just talk rubbish and hit the distruct button redknapp is one of the best managers in the country whats the point it wont happen sometimes the questions are more destructive than the answers

In turning people against TP?! You think my aim is to turn the masses against including Coates against him and demand Rednapp must take over. I asked myself a simple question and wanted to know the thoughts of others. Here is the next question, would Rednapp come to Stoke? I think he'd jump at the chance myself.

Incidentally I don't think the timings ideal and Harry's not really a great long term appointment but I'd have to say yes because I'm burning to enjoy Premier League football at Stoke City.

Old - "yeah well he's a good player and I could probably do something with him - triffik player but I wouldn't wan't to talk about him obviously he's west ham player but you never know triffik player though - triffik player though...." I think now seriously despised and wouldn't get a sniff from WHU. From the Bonds coup through Rio being sold (when we didn't need to) leading to the eventual break-up of a complete team (near enough) of good players. Harry had - Di Canio, Rio, James, Carrick, Lampard, Johnson, Cole, Defoe but within a season of him gone they had gone? Some of the football played then was the best I've seen since John Lyall and he's a good manager for sure but does leave a bad taste. We're now all about the result!!

Agreed but I think BFS is going to get us tough and efficient first (get results) and then try and disprove the doubters about his functional football. (This is what we hope). Yesterday, I didn't feel once that Villa were going to threaten (strange for us) but his signings particularly Diame and Diarra show a depth of knowledge and ability to deal. With over a week to go I expect us to sign more (although not the "Marquee" signings the media suggest. I'd like to see us start to re-build from the crap last five years.

What is Harry's record given the money he has spent on both transfers and wages? He has won the FA Cup, anything else? He turned Spurs round but that was always going to happen. Last year he bottled it and some of his tactics Lennon on the left, Bale in the middle v QPR away were baffling.
For him to work at Stoke we would have to double our wage bill and transfer budget. Is that realistic?
