This is an unbelievably good signing in fairness.

proof why yet again Hughes is a better manager than our tone Hughes is fantastic in the transfer market. QPR will never go down while he is there ;D maybe he has more money? He certainly has more bargaining power regards wages if you look at Barton's extortionate wage. Also Hughes being ex Man United will always do well out of Fergie just like Bruce and Keane did. Or should we lambast Pulis because he never played for United? You don't half come out with some shite sometimes ;D

Doesn't seem to have much bearing on their ability as managers? Deal with it.

If Hughes was Stoke boss for the past 4 seasons with the money that has been available we wouldn't be sitting here with the nagging thought of relegation this coming season. Like it or lump it that's the unthinkable prospect unless the Manager pulls his finger out and signs some decent FOOTBALLERS.

Where do you get mark Hughes is a good manager? I remember Blackburn at the time being the dirtiest side in the prem, riling rival managers with their strong arm tactics, especially wenger.
Bails out whenever the going gets tough.

Hughes is a good manager but a complete dick head who will dance to the tune of his Agent.
One whiff of a big move this season and he'll leave QPR on a complete whim.

So why jump down my throat saying "Hughes is better than Pulis, deal with it" when I was making the point that QPR signing Park has no bearing on whether Hughes is or is not a better manager than Pulis.

QPR will do nothing this year. Hughes will be out of work by November!

I happen to think he's a cracking manager AND I wasn't the first to draw comparisons with TP.

Jo, Tal Ben Haim, Kolo Toure, Santa Cruz and Robinho for a combined total of 90 million and fuck all return performance wise from any of them. And I thought Tone spunked money up the wall! Yes inner, he's fantastic in the transfer market ;D

Yes inner, he's fantastic in the transfer market ;D To be fair, I'm not sure how many of those were actually his signings. Jo and Robinho certainly weren't. Santa Cruz - for £20m - certainly was and that was a fuck up and a half. At Blackburn he signed some cracking players on a shoestring.

And if you've got that kind of head coach structure in place, you're effectively signing your own death warrant doing that if you don't have any bargaining power.

I've watched loads of footage on MUTV of mark Hughes behind the scenes at old Trafford. He just sat in the corner of the dressing room and said nowt. Players and managers said they could never see him more than anyone else being a manager. He had plenty of time last season and did nothing but drag them deeper towards relegation.
He keeps a lot of his anger in and it just builds up until he cracks. Funny when he had a go at us when on his short stint at fulham for being aggressive! Coming from the man who moulded and managed Blackburn into the dirtiest side in the prems history

To be fair, Park is a top-drawer player.
31 means nothing really. He'll have at least another 3 years at the top level.
At the money they've paid, it's an absolute bargain.

He's a very angry man like you say and doesn't conduct himself with much dignity.
