I wasn't too bothered about this deal a few weeks ago but the more I hear about him the more excited I'm getting to see him play for us. Welcome aboard Geoff

Ah excellent. He looks a bit used car salesman like though but I on this one I trust him. It'll be good to see what TP finally has in store for the G-man on Friday.

es.twitter.com/OrtizKicks Geoff Cameron is returning to US to fill out the paperwork. Might be tough for him to get passport in time for Mex-U.S. match
Sounds like that might be the last we see of him for the next week, if he's got to go through the pain of returning to America to deal with the red tape. Then if he gets called up to the US squad against Mexico next week, we can rule him out for the Reading game at least.

Can they not use a fax machine? ;D

No mention of right-back... www.mlssoccer.com/news/article/2012/08/08/cameron-secures-uk-work-permit-ready-play-stoke“They want to try me at center back and center mid as well,” Cameron said. “This is a new process and team and I’ve got to find my niche and work my way into the team again. My plan is to play anywhere that’ll get me on the field. I want to get minutes and then once I do that, the plan is to become a regular starter.” While Stoke presents some different challenges, there are some similarities that Cameron believes will help him make a quick transition to his new club. “I think overall, the Dynamo and Stoke are very similar in their work ethic and running hard and being physical and being hard workers overall,” Cameron said. “Obviously there’s going to be an adjustment period to guys and speed. “It could be similar to the national team level so I think it’s going to be a little bit to adjust and get acclimated to the team and level of play,” Cameron continued. “I think my attitude and the way the Dynamo play is very similar to the way Stoke plays and because of that I think I’ll fit in.”

Begovic Wilson Shawcross Huth Boesnich Pennant Cameron Palacios Etherington Kightly Crouch Cameron protecting the back 4, allowing Palacios a bit more freedom. Boesnich flying down the left, supporting Ethers, overlapping, whipping balls into the box......Wilson on his preferred side, not having to cut back in all the time......creativity and goals in Kightly, behind Crouchie....... Not a chance it'll happen mind!!
