With the title race now realistically down to 2 who would you prefer to win. For me it's Citeh, purely down to my hatred of Utd. Incidentally a good Annagram of Manchester United is " Shite name, red cunts"

It pains me, it hurts like hell and goes against everything I was brought up to believe..... .... but I would rather Man United win it. It doesnt matter if they win another title, no-one cares. But I have built an enormous hatred for Man City, their manager, fans and everything that the club represents. I sincerely hope that they win fuck all and financially implode in the next couple of years. I have a grudging respect for Fergie, and cant really bring myself to hate any of their current players, compared to utter contempt for some of the Man City players. I would like to apologise to my family for this post, especially me Dad and me Uncle Neil.

I hope that Man City win the title tbh. I don't have any problem with them.
Aside from Danny Murphy, Sergio (Kun) Aguero and David Silva are my two favourite non Stoke players.

Man. City because I loathe Man. Utd. and everything and everyone associated with them, although I can't see them winning it especially after we beat them on Saturday.

Weve had this thread before? Wasn't the one before about we think would win? Anyway, someone should start one about who we think will finish 7th as that's more relevant to us.

I hate United as much as anyone, but frankly i'm utterly numb to them winning the league these days, it just doesn't hurt. Whereas seeing City win it will fuck me off no end.
i live in Manchester and i know full well that Citeh will be every bit as arrogant and unbearable as the rags if theystart winning trophies regularly.
Also, there'll be something incredibly amusing about watching citeh bottle it and something grudgingly impressive about watching a United team with so much less individual talent than the rest of the top five win it by sheer strength of character.

I predicted ManUre before a ball was kicked and guess what . . . . that's still my prediction.
Loathsome as they both clubs are, players who sign for United sign for the shirt, the kudos and the history as well as the money. Players who sign for Citeh do so for one reason and one reason alone.

I sort of don't mind Man City since the Cup Final. There seemed to be a lot of good will between the two clubs in the time following that game, even though I couldn't stand them or Mancini before then.

Bit of a daft question considering we're playing Citeh on Sat and revenge would be oh so sweet. As said before, i really don't care as long as it's not Arsenal. The 1970's still pains me to this day.

But to paraphrase Andy Murray "Anyone except Arsenal" To be fair, if you've already lost one eye, which eye would you want to be poked. Or put another way, we're used to Utd buying/winning the title year in, year out. I'd rather one team were doing it rather than two. I agree with what you said about Arsenal though.

See the big picture guys
Citeh winning the league sums up this league for what it is - all about money
Its not that 'ManUre' arent equally all about money too (millions of glory hunters buying shirts globally, signing up to MUTV, travelling from deepest Surrey etc) - They have simply been outgunned by a club who have investors that rich they have injected the cash straight to the source.
Thats why I want Citeh to win the thing - It exposes the whole thing for the sham that it is - Its not about anything other than money at the top anymore and Man City are everything that football really shouldnt be about.

You can buy the support of millions of Man City fans (never saw 1 shirt a few years ago, now they are everywhere) but you can't buy class.

I don't bloody care who wins it TBH but I echo your sentiments about money ruining the game. Its pathetic that at the start of the season there are less than a handfull of teams who could have realistic ambitions of winning the league. Sorry, sorry state of affairs.

Thats why I want Citeh to win the thing - It exposes the whole thing for the sham that it is - Its not about anything other than money at the top anymore and Man City are everything that football really shouldnt be about. to be honest as you rightly pointed out, Man Utd,. are just as bad (nearly £170 million in the last 6 years shows they're not just about youth development or "earning" titles in the old fashioned sense) but unfortunately exposing anything is irrelevant anyway. football has been about nothing more than money for a long time now and people just pick scapegoats to blame it on as soon as a club is invested in; people slagged Chelsea off when Abramovic came along, and more recently Man City and even QPR have taken a battering unfairly to be honest as it is NOT their fault that football is a capitalist money making scheme to fatcat businessmen, they are merely reacting to the fact that it ALREADY is that way and if you want success then you have to buy it nowadays. it's not Chelsea's fault, Man City's fault, Barca's fault (the list could go on). the formation of the Premier league and the Sky deals (worldwide, not just for the Prem) that went hand in hand with it started the sad slip into the "Money is everything" state that we find ourselves in today. Man City have spent as much as they have because to assemble a team like that they have to; if they could have got those players for a fraction of the price then they would have, it;s not their fault that players and agents nowadays demand such high fees. i for one don't blame City at all to be fair,it's just the way football is and wasn't started by them and in the next few years there will be another club who are invested in heavily and it will be their turn to be derided and blamed for everything that is wrong in football; if people genuinely think that we are still in the days where you earn your revenue and win the league by bringing players through or spotting "Diamonds in the rough" that are world beaters but cost £10mill then it is very very naive! pretty damn sure none of us would complain if someone came and "Bought" us some silverware (i didn't notice many complaining last year when we "Bought" our way to a cup final..but as per usual with our Red and White tinted specs "That's different" isn't it). if we could buy players like Tevez (quality-wise not personality-wise i hasten to add), Balotelli, Silva et al we would jump at the chance and for those that say "I wouldn't want it, i'd prefer to earn it" then i'm afraid you'll have to continue to live in the 1970's in that case because the world and football does not work that way anymore.simples! not saying i like it to be honest but it's just a fact people need to start getting used to; this whole "Let's show them up for being greedy, money grabbers and they'll all change" John Lennon, hippy-esque ideal is just garbage. simply, accept it, deal with it as being the way it is nowadays or choose another sport to watch.it's not going to change because a few people want to go back to the "good old days"
