Good that we have a recall clause in time for the Cup Final. I don't think I would have forgiven Scholsey if he had missed that out!

That'll teach him to try and get into the opposition penalty area away from home. Hope he learns from this

Everytime I've seen him play he's been brilliant ... Which is exactly why we are all baffled by this, TP sometimes needs a rocket up his arse. How on earth can salif be better in CM than arasmendi, a young possibly promising player who looks fantastic on the ball, and can pass it to a player in a red and white striped shirt from 5 yards away (Something most of our midfielders cant!)

We've just got to hope he performs really well. Or it could be curtains for Aris.

Hi guys, Huddersfield fan here.
Just wondering what your thoughts are on Arismendi? Will he do well at L1 level?

Hi guys, Huddersfield fan here. Just wondering what your thoughts are on Arismendi? Will he do well at L1 level? We want him in our starting line up so that should answer your question. Comfortable on the ball, good passer, runs at defences and ultimatly (no offence) shouldn't be anywhere near League 1 standard.

Hi guys, Huddersfield fan here. Just wondering what your thoughts are on Arismendi? Will he do well at L1 level? We have never really had a chance to see him at Stoke, what with Pulis' obsession with Delap in the middle. But put it this way, when he started against Valencia away he was our best player by a country mile. He might have had a tough time adjusting to England in his years here, but he has a hell of a lot of potential.

TP was clearly never going to put him in his plans this season. So on the positive side at least he has gone to a quality L1 side pushing for promotion. if he gets a lot of football it can only help him develop and come back even stronger

At least he's getting some game time somewhere.
Good luck to him, will be interesting to see how he does.
Has shown promise for us but yet to tear up any trees out on loan up to now.

What will you all be saying if he fails at yet another lower league club? Don't forget that we've been trying to get him out on loan since the summer and have only found a bidder in March.
You have one good game in a system that hides your biggest weaknesses and you becoke a hero on the Oatcake. Weird.
Hopefully next season he'll be ready for next season. If he plays with Palacios then we'll have an all South American central midfield. That'll be interesting.

Somehow i cant see palacios being a regular starter at stoke.

Best passer by a mile in our squad, gets forward well, can get up & down the pitch, likes having the ball at his feet & isn't scared to keep it. Would've liked to have seen him given more games for us, hope he does well at Huddersfield & comes back here & gets a shot at regular first team football next season. Can't understand why Mr Booking err Diao played at Chelsea when Arismendi can't even get on the bench.

It is obviously a shame that he hasn't been given a chance but for me what is even worse is that last time he was out on loan was in the championship and now he's back down into League One. If no one is willing to take him on loan to get him some experience then why not wait until we reach 40 points and give him a couple of games in the Prem?

He still looks very unfit and has looked overweight at lot of the time. Looking at the exceptional fitness of our other players I'd suggest that Palacios hasn't been following whatever nutritional and fitness plans laid down by the club. I'm praying that a full pre season will straighten him out

I don't think anyone on this board has really seen enough of him to make accurate assumptions about his ability whilst Pulis, on the other hand, works with him day-in day-out. He looked good against Valencia but on the flip side he hasn't exactly set the world alight when he went out on loan last season. At 24 Arismendi is hardly a youngster (or maybe he is when you look at our average squad age! ) and if he is only considered good enough for League 1 at his age he hasn't really got a future at a Premier League club!

Yes lets hope he does well then we can sell him to Leicester City for £500K. I do not understand the thinking. We are as good as safe and Mr Pulis would rather play has beens like Diao than give young players a chance. What is the point of Stoke having an academy when they don't try young players when they have the chance. No wonder the supporters get pissed off.

I thought most fans from clubs who Arismendi had been out on loan to and visited this board to report back thought he was rubbish?
