I;m of the same thinking as Bunny tbh.......they are football fans who love their club just like you and i love SCFC.
For that reason it would be tragic if they folded

Less than 8000 and they deserve all they get....

There's alot of very decent vale supporters. Unfortunately it's often the loudest in a group who are the most moronic.
They don't deserve to lose their club, I for one enjoyed the banter in the 90s.
At the end of the day, all vale fans need to take responsibility now. When they get put into Admin, they can't look for everyone else to help them. They should have a 20k crowd down there. The fact that Stokies and others will be with them is a nice touch which personally I applaud, I'm tempted to go myself but I can't due to other commitments tomorrow.
It's upto them now. Good luck to them though.

Rumours that Bratt is trying to get a few together to get back in the club. Anything to keep Mo out. I would cry with laughter if he got the club back. Anyone that gives them jealous little shit's their 20 quid needs their head looking at! I hope they finally sell it to Mo and he turns out to be the self-interested villain we suspect him to be. Then the starve em out dickheads will have got what they wanted and they'll still be well and truly fucked, and maybe they'll turn the ground into another Aldi or somewhere else that sells cheap German lager. It won't be the first time the Vale Intelligence Bureau has struck in that way either. They chased off Paladini in favour of ( don't laugh) V2001! Now he may have been a cock but look what his involvement in QPR achieved in comparison to the never ending failure of their supporter board! They then chased out Bratt and his band to make way for non share buying, huge salaried fat boy and his mate. Now they want Mo. Ringing endorsement isn't it?

The club itself only has 3 Directors so can't run itself. Regardless of that they will soon it appears be in the hands of either administrator or liquidator. If the City council in its current financial plight lend Vale additional funds when they can't pay back the £1.8 mil they already owe, then it's total madness and a complete waste of my council tax money.

I attended a Vale game many moons ago. The loudest cheer of the day by a distance was when they found out we had lost. The only songs of note were Stoke hating songs. I won't ever bother. we finally agree on something i dont want vale to go under, but i wont be helping them either..........would their fans help us? would they fuck, they are bitter bastards, who prefer to see us lose than their own team win. FUCK THEM!

Oh fucking hell!
Go and support them Bunny etc but here is a health warning before you go.
I give you the thoughts of Richard off OneValeFan!
"Mo's optimism is there for everyone to see- he may not have the hundreds of millions that would catapult us to the summit of the Premiership like Man City but he certainly has the business acumen and hunger to take us as far as possible and we certainly have the fan base to match what Stoke have achieved and perhaps go one step further.
I've been keeping a keen eye on his Facebook page that is littered with hope and a future for this club. Mo knows where we all want to be-competing at the highest level with Stoke. Champions League is not impossible in my opinion. Just imagine- 26,000 roaring Vale fans backing Mickey and the lads against the likes of Barcelona. I'm not being unrealistic as it would obviously require slow, organic growth to achieve this. Anyone agree?'

this is an individual decisoon, no right or wrong or moral quandry about it. Those who want to go, will go. Those who won't, won't. The only thing wrong about this is for others to foister their views on others. Me? I'm not going, because I'm struggling to scrape £20 for life's essentials, including Liverpool away. But I think no less of anyone who stands shoulder to shoulder with those from our city, and neither should anyone else - especially if it helps in any miniscule way to help save SOT jobs. Boo hoo, they had some banter with us in the 90's. So did we at Old Trafford, and so would everyone else with their city rivals. It's called banter. I hope they survive this, because decent clothes and hygiene apart, they're no different to us. Unfortunately bunny,I lived in burslem in the 90s and it was sheer bloody hatred, not banter as you call it.it is still the same today. Oh and while your at it,would you care to comment on the part of my post, questioning the councils possible bail out.austerity indeed.

Any Stokie going there tonight needs their head reading. The vale shit themselves won't go unless they are in admin. This is despite the fact that the players and staff are all there for nothing. It isn't about putting 20 quid in the boards pockets, it should be about showing their team respect. Ungrateful, deluded pricks that have helped to bring down their own club. Fuck em, I hope they drop down the leagues and die a slow death.

Theirs was no banter, it was venom, spite, bile, hatred, jealousy and many other things that come from people who place themselves apart from the rest and then always wish secretly that they'd made/been given a different choice. They are the detritus of our city, the human flotsam and jetsom of Stoke on Trent, and Vale Park is the filthy tideline on a beach near some port that simply doesn't exist. They are the anal haemorroids of the potteries, and the only time I'll dance a happier jig is when Thatcher dies. And when they do flatten Vile Park I WILL be having a shit there even if it has to be in the middle of the night so that whenever anyone ever mentions Vale Park again I can say "Yes that was my toilet".

Fair play to the 500 Vale fans who raised a whopping £1000 during a bucket collection during their meeting at Baddeley Green WMC on Sunday.
They managed to raise less for their crisis stricken club than Baddeley Green WMC's bar takings that afternoon.
Brilliant.

er, where have I said I will go there and 'support them'? In the years I've been writing in the Oatie and ion AVTAK, I've taken the mick out of that football club as much as anyone. They are our city rivals and get treated accordingly.
As stated before, no way on earth am I going tonight, but if some want to go I have no problem with that at all. I simply do not want to see another SOT industry bite the bullet and folk lose their jobs and their football club.
Yes, there was hatred in the 90's. I hated playing them, and losing to them was as painful as football gets. Hatred was on both sides though, and yes, probably them more than us.
But personally I ( don't want to see my Vale mates (who are sound) not having their club to suupport any more.
