Personally I think you should attend if you are interested in their survival

I attended a Vale game many moons ago.
The loudest cheer of the day by a distance was when they found out we had lost. The only songs of note were Stoke hating songs.
I won't ever bother.

Not a chance in hell.
Can't say as I want to see them fold (as funny as it may be to an extent) but quite frankly I've got better things to spend £20+ on than to go sit in Vale Park to watch division 4 football when we all know the vale fans deep down don't want us there and if the shoe was on the other foot they'd be laughing their bollocks off.
Besides I'm busy tuesday, washing my hair or summit along those lines.

Nothings changed there, but we use to read out vale and crewe's half times as well, but now we dont even bother to do that Its as if neither exist

They put hatred of Stoke City before supporting their own club.
They, as it has already been said, would be dancing in the streets if our club's fortunes were reversed.
The supporters themselves are to blame for some if not all of their predicament. Not attending home matches so that the current owners don't get any money. No wonder they're skint!
So why the fuck should we give a shit about them? Spend my hard earned money to go and watch Vale? Give me a break. Let them clean their own mess up. Besides, Port Vale isn't even their main interest in football, Stoke City will always be here for them to hate.

I've said it on other threads that I don't want genuine fans to lose their club. I've got to say though that the Vale fans, and the Vale as a club's attitude towards Stoke when they had the upperhand for a year or so is now proving to be counter-productive. In the early 90s I used to go to the odd Vale home match. I finally stopped going one horrible game when Stoke were away (I think to Ipswich), and got stuffed by 5 goals. The Vale scoreboard was flashing up the score everytime another goal went in, and the Vale fans were lapping it up. It's now understandable that Stoke fans don't want to help them out, but I can't help but wonder if this might not have been the case if the Vale fans and the club itself hadn't enjoyed our fall from grace quite as much as they did. You reap what you sow, but I still don't want them to go out of business. Just don't ask me if I'd be so forgiving if it was those complete cretins from Crewe who were in the same position. "And on the line now, we have Dwayne from Crewe. Dwayne, you've won today, what did you think of the game?" "Well John, I've ringed up to say we'll finish higher than Stoke cos they're rubbish now."

Why the fuck would you want to risk wearing yr Stoke shirt at Port Fail. You would get constant abuse, spat at etc etc etc. What would yr average boothen boy think to a Fail fan wearing his top at Stoke.

"Admin on a Monday and my heart stood still....the Vale are gone gone, the Vale are gone" Rumours that Bratt is trying to get a few together to get back in the club. Anything to keep Mo out. I would cry with laughter if he got the club back. Anyone that gives them jealous little shit's their 20 quid needs their head looking at!

The vale fans want to help themselves before they ask us to. Thought they had a great fan base that could get 20k to vale park when they want? How about those fickle twats who dont go anymore, get off there arses and go and help the club they claim to support.
Fuck em, hope they go out of business!!
