one of my best mates is a delusional Vale Bastard.
Many a moon ago when i came back from the home leg of the cardiff play off game, he was there in the front room, waiting with a big fucking grin on his face.
a week or so later after the away leg he refused to answer his phone and went missing for 3 days so i couldn't give him any stick.
After the brentford game he was found at the bottom of the stairs, pissed and miserable, unable to stand. now, collapsing drunk at the bottom of your stairs becaus eyour own team got relegated, we've all been there!!! (well i have) but because someone else got promoted?!!!!
pretty much sums them up for me, right in your face when we lose, disappear when we win, and more bothered about us then their own team. fuck em, they'll never get a penny out of me, hope they go bump.

Another similar thread to last week.....NO! Its Monday and isn't it administration day? Look its dragging on now, its almost cruel. Put the side out if its misery & be done with it. "Admin on a Monday and my heart stood still....the Vale are gone gone, the Vale are gone" Rumours that Bratt is trying to get a few together to get back in the club. Anything to keep Mo out. I would cry with laughter if he got the club back. Anyone that gives them jealous little shit's their 20 quid needs their head looking at! I hope they finally sell it to Mo and he turns out to be the self-interested villain we suspect him to be. Then the starve em out dickheads will have got what they wanted and they'll still be well and truly fucked, and maybe they'll turn the ground into another Aldi or somewhere else that sells cheap German lager.

Anyone thinking of going to Boslem tomorrow night and wearing their Stoke shirts wants their head read. Be like a red rag to a bull and asking for trouble. I think Mo Chaudry would be looking to buy Vale and then sell their ground and get relocated with a ground share at Norton Utd or similiar. He's a business man at the end ofthe day. Seems like he's their only option though. I still dont want Vale to go bump. Theyre our local rivals and always will be all being well. They just need to relegated and then be in the position that our old friends Stockport currently find themselves in. Now that would be a real laugh!

Had one of my funniest football moments at Vale. Derby day in the 90's and we got tickets in the home stand, when Steino scored we went up, and suddenly all the home fans wandered off...hilarious

I still remember the shit I had to put up with, when we got relegated and fail were above us for a season.I also remember, the day we were promoted to the premiership,my best fail supporting mate couldn't even congratulate me.instead he said"I can't fookin wait to see you bastards getting fookin hammered every week on motd" So it reply pisses me off to listen to stokies, even contemplating helping the vale. It's their problem, let them sort it,oh and don't give me the" its bad for the area crap",what's bad for the area is the council contemplating bailing out port vale, when all around they are making sweeping cuts,to essential services.

this is an individual decisoon, no right or wrong or moral quandry about it.
Those who want to go, will go. Those who won't, won't.
The only thing wrong about this is for others to foister their views on others. Me? I'm not going, because I'm struggling to scrape £20 for life's essentials, including Liverpool away. But I think no less of anyone who stands shoulder to shoulder with those from our city, and neither should anyone else - especially if it helps in any miniscule way to help save SOT jobs.
Boo hoo, they had some banter with us in the 90's. So did we at Old Trafford, and so would everyone else with their city rivals. It's called banter.
I hope they survive this, because decent clothes and hygiene apart, they're no different to us.

i would like to reiterate the thoughts of several others on this thread and say 'fuck 'em'
a mate from out of the area had an email from them asking to donate some items to a sort of 'save vale' fundraising auction.
the email went on to describe the club as 'historically' the biggest club in staffordshire.
if anyone is in any doubt as to what a bunch of deluded fuckwits they are then they should see this email.
a well known quote is that 'history is written by the victors'.
in this case history is rewritten by the fucking losers
on my advice my friend has ignored their request
looking forward to seeing them in whatever passes for the midland combination league these days

I attended a Vale game many moons ago. The loudest cheer of the day by a distance was when they found out we had lost. The only songs of note were Stoke hating songs. I won't ever bother. Get over it . It is called rivalry, don't tell me there hasn't been cheers at Stoke when wev'e heard that Vale had lost,or that we don't sing Vale hating songs.

oh come on bunny...to have a vale fan text me 'ha ha you're out of europe' within 2 weeks of not knowing their club will exist is nothing short of bitter and selfish. If it were my club in their position it would consume my every waking thought.
If that's the best they can come up with....fuck em!

I'm not bothered about what they'd be doing if the roles were reversed as I dont want to lower myself to their level.
I'm also not bothered about what they said and did when they were above us for a season, I personally cant blame them.
I do think that they should be looking at themselves first and asking what their own fans should be doing to help them survive. I also think that, given how desperate they are, any stance of 'we dont mind stokies turning up, as long as they arent wearing stoke tops' is disgraceful and for that, deserve anything that they get.
You potentially have stokies wanting to give up their own money to help them in any way possible, but are suggesting physical violence would occur if they did. When you've had other clubs holding open days, fans of all teams, including their local rivals, have turned up in shirts to show that the football family is far bigger than a few mindless thugs. If for one game during their greatest hour of need, they arent willing to accept help from somebody if they happen to be wearing red and white stripes - then they dont deserve a football team to support.
On that basis, I now want to see them go bump. I've not seen one story, one thread, one plea from genuine fans pleading for people to support them. Its a thin line between pride and arrogance.

For those going, put your money to better use and donate it to Ruby Owen.
Maybe the money half of them spent on Man City shirts last May could have gone some way to helping their club out.
