Joe, i've just got back in and it is indeed very, very cold out today around ST4.The worrying thing is the weather forecast i've just listened to.They are forecasting snow.No chance will it be called off but it could create problems for fans trying to get to the game.Hopefully it won't get anywhere near the York City FA Cup game a few years back.

That picture was from Fulham wasn't it? We won 3-2, 3-0 up at half tine with Tuncay running the show. Went off injured second half. Clint Dempsey scored a dipping volley from 30yards. One of the best games since we got promoted.
Hope today is the same!!

My weather app says snow likely 50% from 2pm, but that increases to 100% from 5pm, so all being well the snow wont be arriving till late on and the game will go ok!!

Game will only be posponed if their are safety issues towatds spectators, from both ice and slush. If snow doesnt fall until game has kicked off should all be good!

Hmmmmm I have searched the Pitch heating manufacturers website and it doesnt actually say at what temperature the system works...however it does say it heats the pitch up to 10 to 18 degrees. That would indicate if it was indeed - 17 the pitch should still be playable. Dont know if we would be there at that temp tho lol BUT they also make stadium heating systems......imagine a nice warm heater under your seat like they have under the Subs seats at Manure....do you think Pete might install them for us????? They could have a meter next to them so you put in 50 p for each 20 minutes or something.....bloody make a fortune at our ground

nah.....we'd have bloody Greenpeace on our case then...another organisation that would hate us...Stoke City would be directly responsible for shrinking the polar ice caps...causing the death of all polar bears and widespread flooding in East Anglia

Maybe a few we will have a few lumbering Polar bears in the crowd (team?) today as they will feel at home!
