Skankmonkey - Remember a big fat greaser who walked around the Vale track at half-time, when Vale Fans changed ends called 'Gracy' the Bycars would chant his name as he approached, late 60s early 70s? 'Shagrats' was the small Hells Angels Chapter that walked around Newcastle early 70s, don't think any had a motorbikes?
ShanghaiPotter - Got one of those 'Chelsea Headhunter' books borrowed to me, never returned in which the picture of said Chubby Henderson and son features.

" Hold the line ".................. fat Vale bastard on You Tube I seem to remember the Vale used to have a greaser named Shagrat in the '60's. He was their "name".
I might have hallucinated this though.
Vale had a fan named the Bear, one of those Vale games when Stokies used to go down the Vale when Stoke were playing anyway, the Bear was bragging he could take any Stokie, A lad named Bootsie, ran over and laid him out with one punch.

I must have conflated the two at some point. Heady times...
