Sorensen Wilko Shawcross Huth Higgy Pennant Palacios Wilson Etherington Jones Fuller Subs: Begovic, Shotton, Upson, Delap, Whelan, Crouch, Walters Sorry but why would you drop Walters for a Un-fit fuller that can only impact on a game around the 60 minute mark at this time in his career?

Won't happen but I'd love to see that team, to be honest I'd just love to see Palacios start.

Seeing as we're completely devoid of any creativty or spark at the minute, then it would make sense for Fuller to start. Him warming up gave the place a great lift on Saturday and spurred us on to pull a goal back. Yes, it would be incredibly harsh on Walters, who has been brilliant this season, but Ric is still the main man, and with our constant hoofball, I can't see Walters and Ric being as effective as Kenwyne the colossus with one of these two.

Even though they were enjoyable to watch again, you didn't need to include the videos, i know what he is capable of, but, that was his first 20 minutes he has played in 6-8months? We need to full ball go for it on Saturday. But by having a not fully-fit player PLUS the two laziest strikers we have and maybe in the premier league, i just think its to early.

If Fuller and Jones are lazy, how do you describe Crouch? Our most immobile striker? Jones is by far the best striker in the air in the league and Ric can make something from nothing despite only playing 20 mins. If we have to sub him at half time, at least we'll only be sat back in our own half with no outlet for the second half.

I'd go with Sorensen begovic Wilko huth upson shawcross higgy Whitehead palacios delap Jones!! If we keep a clean sheet we get a point! And I'd take anything right now!!! Well that's a novelty, two goalkeepers. I don't think we would be allowed to get away with it somehow

Massive game for Stoke City, and a tough game. Blackburn are not as bad as everyone makes out, and I like Hoillet, Dunn and Samba.
It's tricky picking the best team becuase the squad is pretty deep. I think he will start with Crouch though.
Begovich
Wilko Ryan Huth/Upson Higgy JP Delap/WP Whelan Matty Walters Crouch
He can sell this to Kenwyne and Jerome because they start on Thursday.
Subs: would be nice to see Wilson Palacios and Ric come on
I'm going for an edgy 2-0 win, second goal very late.

Well Dunn and Samba are both out (suspension and hamstring)
Crouch doubtful as is Wilkinson
So could be
Sorro
Shotton Huth Shawcross Higgy Pennnant Delap Whelan Matty Jones Walters

It's interesting that everybody picks Higgy despite the fact that two of the goals came from his side.
Would somebody else be better at left back? Whitehead Wilson Delap Shotton Upson
Whoever it is needs a better awareness than Higgy!

We firstly need to stop conceding goals
Sorro
Wilko Huth Ryan Upson Higgy
Shotton Diao M.Wilson Ethers
Walters
Lets try and get Stubborn at the back
When I say stubborn I mean PULIS Stubborn like we've been the previous seasons and the only reason we are still in the prem
5-4-1

hopefully palacios will play as delap is a doubt. woodgate won't play either, and sørensen starting again. my guess: Sørensen Wilson-Huth-Shawcross-Higgy Walters-Whelan-Palacios-Etherington Jones-Jerome
(Crouch will probably start if he's fit, and I suspect pennant to start on bench because of his rubbish form of late..)

Tough one tomorrow, but I'm more confident about this one than the QPR and Newcastle games.
I think we'll concede early (I bloody hope not) within 10 minutes (lucky deflection or their first attack). We'll draw level by half time (O.G) then go on to win 2 or maybe 3-1.
Sounds like Wilko and Crouch are the major doubts.
Keep the faith...GO ON STOKE!

I agree entirely . Really good team. If Crouch was fit and fuller 100% could you find room for them?

IMO - this is as important a game as we have played in weeks. We must get all 3 points; but not only that we have to play the whole game like we did the first 15-20 minutes against QPR!!

Definately a must win. A defeat will be catastrophic.
For me TP has to change tactics at set pieces as last week they clearly things were failing and the service was woeful. Our crossing too needs to be better and we need to start beating the first man.
We're not a poor team we're just very very low on confidence and in football that's a massive thing. A win today is the perfect opportunity to get us kickstarted and playing like the old Stoke again.
Samba missing will be a massive boost for us I just hope that he starts Palacios and leaves Whitehead out. We need to start passing better and finding our men it should be easier against Blackburn as they don't keep the ball as well as QPR. If everyones fit I'd start with
Sorro
Wilko Huth Ryan Higgy
Ethers Palacios Delap Pennant
KJ Walters
I'd also like to see more of Ric this week if things are close bring him on at the hour.
