cheadlestokey- The lads are unhappy about the losses and thanks God they care enough to be unhappy. I think there needs to be a mass exit of players those that are out on loan, fringe players. I believe a few contracts are up. sadly Fullers is and I want him to stay at stoke city.so i hope you are, in many ways , right.

Cant see that happening You're right, realistically Crouch to start with KJ replacing him rather than KJ with Jerome replacing him. I've got nothing against Crouch, he's completely starved. I just think back to basics 100% with that starting XI with Crouch coming back in for the Kiev/Everton game with a point to prove.

1-2. Sorry but ive got some good inside info. Things NOT happy at the Brit. And people ARE leaving in January Behave, it might be a bit more tense than normal and a couple of tiffs but that's football, when things aren't going well things are bound to spill onto the training ground, but it's nothing out of the ordinary and bullshit rumours about big bust-ups and unrest like that help nothing. I think we'll stay solid Saturday, get back to winning ways and have a fresh start to the season.

Will everyone be happy again ? No doubt Pulis will be forgiven for the past few weeks and people will talk about a top ten finish again.

I sort of agree with you pal but if we had a performance where we won 5-0 and people slated it id be a little pissed off wouldnt you?

I sort of agree with you pal but if we had a performance where we won 5-0 and people slated it id be a little pissed off wouldnt you? Yeah I completely understand your point. But just because we may beat someone 5-0, we'll probably play the same system and same style of football which has been so poor over the last few weeks. If we win 5-0 and just scored 5 goal from set-pieces then to me it wouldn't really be any of our problems resolved, which is a distinct lack of creativity anywhere on the pitch. This doesn't necessarily represent my opinion by the way, just trying to give an example of how someone may still moan after such a result

When we beat Bolton 5-0, I don't remember anyone moaning. At the moment we can't even keep a fucking clean sheet, never mind dreaming about a 5-0 win.

1-1
Blackburn get a break and take the lead early on, Stoke chasing for the rest of the game, Blackburn stick 10 men behind the ball and hold on for the draw.
I also expect to see a legit Stoke goal chalked off even though the ball clearly crossed the line, we haven't had one of those this season and with goal line technology in the news this week it's bound to happen this weekend.

I'll go 1-1 and Walters has a penno saved because at last a goalkeeper realises that he always blasts it straight

Now this is what I call a sensible thread. Believe me guys, if we had had this great forum back in Waddo’s era, you would have been hearing almost exactly the same stuff as now. It was NOT all “Tip Tap Tony” football, so don’t be fooled. Yes, the Greenhoff, Hudson years were magnificent, but there was some direct football, and some pretty brutal defending. And yes, A LONG THROW. If you look at the highlights of the League Cup final, you will see Peter Dobing launching. And it was not a perfect harmonious world back then either. I can remember several occasions when there were “Waddo Out” chants. One in particular was after a home defeat to Coventry 0-3. Oh yes, we would have been saying similar things back then as we are today. That is the beauty of it all. We all love this football club so much that we hurt when things go a bit wrong, and sometimes we say daft things. But we are all united in the dream. Thank God for The Oatcake, and Thank God for SCFC. And YES, we WILL beat Blackburn 2-0

If we scrape a 1-0 win but put in another crap performance then no it won't be good enough because we have some really tough games coming up. We need to see an improvement in the performance and a victory !

It will be an uncomfortable lunch time - and I am not talking about the vindaloo. Pedersen to score the only goal as our run of misfortune continues while we help Blackburn end theirs.

We need to see an improvement in the performance and a victory ! I think we need to just get off the mark and keep a clean sheet, so even if the balls deflects in of Pottermus' cock that'll do for me. We need to build our confidence and the only way is to put some points on the board and get out of the rut we are currently in.

A couple of months ago most would have been expecting a win in this match . So whilst beating Blackburn will make me happy it certainly won't quiet all my concerns about the last few Premier League matches . It'll take a few more positive results to do that .
