I don't want Pulis to go but I do want the team to play with an air of respectability. I know we've played away in the Europa again but surely it now time for the management to take stock and say "right, 2nd string eleven for the Europa from now on". The Premier League should be our prime concern and we should be making inroads into winning at least some away games. I'd have been happier with today's result, and a few of the other performances away from home if we'd been caught on the counter. Instead it seems the instructions are sit back try and absorb the pressure and maybe knick a goal on a lucky break. Teams have worked us out now and it's becoming embarrassing for those who travel away to try and justify the financial cost and getting no joy from the performances.

march, does that turd taste nice, or is there HP sauce on it? <winky> £70 million reasons why Pulis needs to sort his head and team out. Sometimes you have to stick together Bunny or else you fall apart completely. There could be some turd eating for us all before we can get back on track. Our summer signings have been nothing short of a disaster. If all of them left the club tonight I wouldn't shed a tear.

I would gladly eat faeces off a rusty spoon just for the merest glimpse of our manager doing what 99.9999999999999999% of our support wants - ie. play the best bloody team.

Agreed he should demand better backing from the chairman as we clearly need a lot more players inh the summer.
If however the chairman feels like he has done enough then TP should resign.
Or are you content to get these results week in week out for the rest of the season?

I am a tad surprised by JB's postings. The sad reality is we had ca. 40% of the play! This is in line with most away games and probably FH v. Newcastle. The reason is because TP doesn't believe in midfield football! Why are we stuck with square pegs in round holes? It is because 'our Tone' never buys FBs, never buys creative CMs and very rarely buys skillful forwards and when he does sticks them on the bench for 2 1/2 seasons like Tuncs so championship workhorses like Walters can play week in week out! We've been heading for this mess since TP's disastrous summer signings and non-signings!

We get smashed 5..0 by a club at the bottom of the league who havent won a game at home all season and people applaud a post blaming the fans? Give me strength! Mark, you should know by now that TP can walk on water and that its the fans fault when we get humiliated as today but TP's praise when we win.....

OK People all chill now.
JB is over passionate about his beloved club.
Ive sent him to bed now with a cold flannel on his forehead. ;D
Don't worry about him he will be fine in the morning.
He will be in attendance at the next home game and he will also be in attendance when we are playing in League 1 again.
More than can be said about most !

Unacceptable performance but ffs get a grip, Bolton have lost their last five home games, are still below us and not in Europe and I bet their fans have more loyalty and faith in Coyle. You're fucking embarrassing calling for Pulis' head. I'm as pissed off as anybody else at today's result but Jesus wept this is embarrassing. I'll be fucked if I ever come on this doom and gloom bullshit page again in the next few weeks. I'll be back on when results are going our way again and you're singing our praises. After the farce of those leaving early on Monday it's disgusting that anyone could suggest that we've got a good loyal passionate fanbase. Of course this doesn't apply to all but it's amazing how many PHW's come out the woodwork when things aren't going our way. Wank performance, worse support. Bolton haven't lost their last 5 home games, they just won one 5-0, yes 5-0 after losing their previous 7 home games, yes 7, I could have taken a 1-0 but 5 fookin 0, he needs to get back to basics and stop playing poor players when better players are sat on the bench and stop the square peg round hole scenario you got back quick to pst this

Can this please be printed on the front of the next copy of the Oatie magazine. Great idea March. A magazine written by Stoke City fans for Stoke City fans calling Stoke City fans "c*nts" and "f*cking embarrassing" on its front cover after a 5-0 defeat. Unbelievable.

You can say what you like about performances but that result yesterday was unacceptable and quite frankly a fucking embarrassment to us all. We've spent a lot of money this last 4 years and deserve better.
I hope Pulis has bastard nutted some of them like he did with Beattie. Because they deserve it.

I'm amazed that anyone can be in any way indignant to the reaction from fans after recent performances.
On this very site there is a thread full of incredibly pissed off Stokies who have (almost) to a man backed the manager.
Many of the people who are pissed off were actually at Bolton. Does that make us all fickle?
This is a forum for opinion and if airing a grievance now makes me a fickle cunt then perhaps the cap must fit me.
I want what's best for Stoke City and that's why I travel all over the bastard country spending a fucking fortune in the process. Tony Pulis is who is best for Stoke City but he is making some severe fuck ups of late and I have no problem saying it and if that upsets anyone I make no apologies.
Due to poor decision making our performances have taken a step backwards of late, I'm sure TP will turn it around but there is absolutely nothing wrong with pointing out issues that are causing us problems.

For god sake we are simply useless away from home. How can you be fickle spending hundreds of pounds on performances like that. What happened on Sunday dissolved the semi final performance . We have some good players and some poor ones . Pulis can not pick the right team . I hope he changes it soon before fans get on his or each others back

Just as well Tony Pulis hasn't got his head in the sand or we'd have been relegated a long time ago.

Fans are fickle. It's common knowledge.
No one likes to lose 5-0 against a shit team like Bolton and it's not the losing that bothers people it's the manner in which we're losing.
However, there aren't many people calling for TPs head either. Most fans just want him to address the obvious problems (and solutions) when it comes to team selection.

Stoke's away form has been garbage for over three years and is actually showing signs of getting worse, not better.
This is the fault of Tony Pulis.
The sooner people realise that Pulis is replacable the better.

Let's hope we are packing him off with a Europa Cup Winners medal and safety assured.

I think it's always going to happen when we have horrible away tactics. Am I right in saying we've won once away from home in the Prem in 2011, if so, that's embarrassing not the fans pissed off about it.

He's turned it around before and he'll turn it around again, Pulis just needs some time and support, every team goes through a bad patch in a season and this is ours.

I think a big part of the problem with Pulis is what makes him a good manager is also, bizarrely, what makes him a bad manager. His sheer bloody-mindedness has been crucial to our success and constant battling against the odds. Unfortunately that bloody-mindedness seems to make him prone to making the same stupid mistakes over and over. It's obvious that certain things don't work but Tone perseveres with "his way".

What team would have you put out then? I'm genuinely interested which "selection" would have prevented those first two goals? Are you trying to say every other keeper would have given the ball to a player on the other team as bego did, don't think so. I see opinions are still not allowed then.

"Many of the people who are pissed off were actually at Bolton. Does that make us all fickle?" Hi Jamo If you read JBs opening post in its entirety you will see he states, obviously this does not apply to all. You and many Stoke supporters are the sort JB would have the utmost of respect for. I can assure you of that. Its a bit like the constant threads about wrist slashers. If this were true there would be a crowd of 5,000 against QPR and around 20,000 outside A&E with bleeding wrists
